Additionally, the hotel is close to tourist attractions such as the 37° Dream Water Park, Tianma Pier, Cishan Hot Springs, and Changyu Castel Winery, offering guests more recreational options. Hotel Service The hotel's service is outstanding. Staff call guests the day before check-in to inquire about preferences, which feels very thoughtful. During check-in, the front desk staff are efficient, friendly, and quick to arrange rooms. Throughout the stay, both room service and restaurant staff are responsive and promptly meet guests' needs, delivering the quality and service standards expected of a five-star hotel. Although the hotel has been operating for some time and certain facilities show signs of age—such as worn corridor carpets and bathroom fixtures with signs of wear—the rooms are well-designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. Yantai Sheraton Hotel The suite is equipped with a single bed and a king-size bed. The single bed is placed in the living room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the corner room provide an excellent view of the sea. Facing east, you can enjoy the sunrise. However, the glass is quite dirty, so it is better to enjoy the view from a distance. The executive lounge service is attentive. This time, three adults stayed, and the lounge staff generously gave an extra dinner. The happy hour dishes are rich and delicious, with lamb spine and small seafood. Although there are not many guests, the food is replenished quickly and promptly. However, there are some areas for improvement in this hotel. First, the facilities and decoration style are slightly outdated, with a strong sense of age. The room door uses an old-fashioned card reading method, and there were multiple instances of the room card not being recognized during the stay. In the corridor, you can also see many guests repeatedly trying to insert the card. Second, the bathroom odor problem is quite obvious. When I first asked the staff to deal with it, they only sprayed air freshener. It was only resolved after I strongly requested a room change. Third, the concierge service at the door is lacking. They did not proactively open and close car doors, carry luggage, or direct vehicles for guests. I once saw a mother holding a child get out of the car and couldn't close the door because her hands were full. The driver shouted to close the door, but the concierge seemed oblivious. Fourth, the quality of toiletries is poor and not the standard equipment of the group. The mineral water provided is also an unknown small brand, not common brands like Pure Water. Overall, the situation at Yantai Sheraton Hotel is quite complex. The 150 yuan room rate is indeed very attractive, but it comes with many shortcomings. While the hotel actively promotes and offers points and room upgrades to attract customers, it performs poorly in terms of hardware facilities and service quality, resulting in unsatisfactory occupancy rates. Under the low-price strategy, the hotel and guests seem to be in a less-than-ideal lose-lose situation, which seems to be a typical portrayal of the current era of cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the hotel industry.

This is the only hotel in the area without a road between it and the sea, offering a "zero distance" experience, like having a private beach! As soon as you enter the lobby, most rooms, and even the outdoor part of the hotel restaurant, you can see the sea directly and get very close to it! ✅ Secondly, the two types of rooms I stayed in this time were really nice~ 1⃣️ One was a full sea view duplex suite with a fantastic view and a strong vacation vibe, perfect for taking lots of photos. ·2⃣️ The other was a two-bedroom suite with two bedrooms, two large beds, a living room, and a kitchen. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it ideal for a family trip. The cost-effectiveness was excellent, and they even provided sand toys for the little ones to enjoy. The hotel service was also good. 3⃣️ As for the food, it didn't disappoint! Before coming, I heard that the hotel's restaurant had a great reputation, with a cost-effective buffet and options for Jiaodong cuisine and Japanese food. We happened to catch the "Fish Feast" themed buffet dinner, which was delicious. This will continue until the end of October, so it's worth a try. 4⃣️ Let's talk about the surroundings~ The hotel offers electric bike rentals, which you can arrange through the front desk, making it very convenient. Plus, it's not far from any attractions, and it's close to the Lonely Whale. If you get tired of the hotel, you can explore the nearby area. ✅ Since it's in the north, I feel like everyone can still visit during the National Day holiday. After that, it might get a bit cold. ✅ If I had to nitpick, it would be that the Sheraton's decor is still the same Sheraton style. You can't find any major flaws, but it's not particularly stylish or trendy. However, it's definitely sufficient for a family vacation.
