With so many mountains in the suburbs, which season is best for hiking, which route to take, where it can lead to, and what kind of scenery to expect, you'll need the advice of one or even several hiking buddies. · 🪵In the spirit of being a novice, I'd go wherever you suggest and have slowly discovered many routes and fun ways to explore. Some mountains and scenic spots are very close to each other, and it's common to visit two attractions in one go, like Gu Shan Zhai + Le Valley Silver Beach. This article mainly talks about Gu Shan Zhai, which I recommend more of the two. · 🕙Best time to visit: The earlier, the better. We entered right when the scenic area opened at 8:30. 🌲There's a sense of superiority in having a whole mountain to yourself, and most importantly: crossing the suspension bridge, you can see the water and sky blend as one.
