#Ho-kangs I visited Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun, a hotel with a view of Jogyesa Temple, one of Korea's representative temples. It is famous for offering the unique comfort of Shilla Hotel at a more reasonable price. You can request a bathtub room when checking in, but I was conveniently assigned a shower room. What I liked most was the location of the hotel. It was a place where you could walk to many tourist attractions such as Deoksugung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jogyesa Temple, and Insadong. In particular, the night view of Jogyesa Temple was very impressive. Since it is located in the center of Seoul, you should definitely check the parking fee, but it seems that it is sometimes included in the room package. #Domestic Hotel Since Shilla Stay's room structure is almost the same, there is no significant difference between Mapo, Guro, and Gwanghwamun. All three are not far from the subway and boast a city view with a wide open view of Guro. Gwanghwamun is upgraded to the Premier Deluxe on the 17th floor. The guarantee was to upgrade from Standard to Deluxe, but it is one step higher. The Premier Deluxe Room includes a minibar with 2 cans of beer, 1 can of cola, 1 small Pringles, and a disposable razor. The 16th to 19th floors are the Deluxe floors. The reception is on the 8th floor, and the Standard is on the 9th to 15th floors, so it starts from a higher floor than other places. If Daejang Stay in Gangnam is Samsung, then Gwanghwamun is Gangbuk. On this day, I went to Namyangju for afternoon tea, then went to my elementary school classmate's house, had a drink with my friends and older male friends, and left for Gwanghwamun at around 10:30, but I fell asleep on the bus. lol So I went to Namgajwa and came back to Gwanghwamun to check in around 12:00. I didn't request breakfast separately the next day and just chose to rest well in my room. I got a corner side room, but the window wasn't on the side, it was just the end room. The view was on the 17th floor, but because there were tall buildings around, the view was narrower than at Nine Tree, where I got the 11th floor. This place has one of two bathtubs, not a shower booth. I requested a bathtub in advance at the two places before, but since I checked in close to midnight, I just got whatever was given to me. I was lucky that I got a Premier! The check-out the next day was at 12:00, and since it's located in an alley inside the bus lane, there wasn't much noise. The beautiful view of the snow falling in the morning was a bonus. Thank you.

I am very happy to stay in the Classic Double Room at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun this time. First of all, this hotel is strategically located in the Gwanghwamun area in the center of Seoul, surrounded by many famous attractions and shopping malls. I could easily walk to places like Gwanghwamun Plaza and Namdaemun Market to experience the lively atmosphere of Seoul. Secondly, the room is exquisitely decorated and comfortable, providing a space for relaxation. The bed was soft and comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a good sleep every night. It was a great hotel for a solo vacation. The city view was great, and there was a convenience store right below, so it was convenient. There were also a lot of restaurants nearby, so it was great.

Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, Myeongdong, and Namdaemun are all within walking distance of the hotel.
