We took the Cycle Boat Swan Shape for the first time (S$8 only for 30 minutes) and it was so much fun. We paddled hard to chase the ducks and birds in the pond. There were at least five different species of birds I saw, a very unique experience. The weather was perfect, bright and warm, windy and not too cold. Shinobazu Pond is very popular during Summer and late Spring because of the giant Water Lilies that blooms pink flowers at that time. When I was there the first time, the Water Lilies were not blooming yet. Unfortunately, the 2nd time, it was Winter, so there were only half dead plants. Still, the view is nice.
