#Spring0yenTrip The "Light Fantasy Kikuchi 2024" held at the Kikuchi City Hometown Creation Civic Square provided a heartwarming winter moment. A huge 15-meter-long Christmas tree, Kumamon and Santa's sleighs, heart-shaped illuminations, and other colorful light displays decorated the square, and the smiles of the visitors were overflowing. This event was planned and implemented by the "Let's Brighten Up Kikuchi Association," a group of volunteer citizens, and you could feel the bond and warmth of the community. Admission is free, and it is a wonderful event that anyone can enjoy, whether it's with families, couples, or friends. It was a memorable trip, where we were able to spend special time with our loved ones in the fantastic light.   

#Spring0yenTrip In the warm spring sunshine, we enjoyed cherry blossom viewing at Kikuchi Park. The cherry blossoms in full bloom painted the entire park in a pale pink color, and the beauty was soothing, like a painting. The cherry blossoms reflected in the pond were also fantastic, and the view was so beautiful that I couldn't help but take photos. After cherry blossom viewing, we ate okonomiyaki at a restaurant near the park. The fluffy okonomiyaki cooked on a hot iron plate was exquisite, and the fragrant aroma of the sauce and mayonnaise in particular whet our appetite. It was a wonderful day where we were able to fully enjoy spring.
