[Taiwan/Taipei] I found some super delicious boiled dumplings with lots of chives! [Shuangcheng Street Night Market]
It's a small night market, but you can enjoy a variety of Taiwanese cuisine.
A Japanese person I happened to meet said, "This place is delicious," so I decided to have beef soup dumplings at this stall 🙏🏻
The dumplings are filled with as much chive as they can 🥹❤️
It's worth eating even if it makes your mouth stink ☺️
It was 80 NTD (about 360 yen at the time).
Probably regular chive dumplings are also delicious 👍

Taipei Zhongshan Pure White Fine Coffee Shop
Necessary Workshop is a famous coffee shop in the alleys of Zhongshan District. I ordered a tea-smeared strawberry cake and a coffee called Oasis. The cake was very soft and the fresh cream was not greasy. The coffee was very refreshing, with the fragrance of green tea and honey, which matched the name very well! Both the coffee and the cake are excellent!
Address: 1F, No. 33, Lane 43, Shuangcheng Street, Zhongshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan 104

Taipei's Must-Try Ramen Spot - Hidden House Ramen
Hidden House Ramen 🍜 at Shuangcheng Night Market left a lasting impression on me. It's definitely a place worth recommending. First, you can choose from thin noodles, medium curls, or thick noodles. The noodles themselves are quite plain in flavor, so you need to mix them well to fully absorb the taste of the broth.
The broth is the highlight of this restaurant. The chicken soup has a refreshing and light flavor, making it enjoyable without being overly rich. On the other hand, the yuzu-flavored broth offers a rich seafood taste with complex layers of flavor. Both types of broth are unique and incredibly delicious!
Another standout feature is their sous-vide duck meat. Since the duck is seared before cooking, it has a wonderfully aromatic flavor. The meat is thicker and more substantial compared to regular ramen char siu, offering a satisfying chew. I can see why people recommend ordering the deluxe char siu platter—it lets you enjoy more of the delicious sous-vide meat slices, which are definitely a highlight of the ramen.
On Saturday nights, expect a queue of around ten people, with a waiting time of about 30 minutes. The restaurant has approximately 13 seats, and the freshly prepared dishes take about 10 minutes to serve.
Highly recommended with 5 stars! 👍
