**Go on an exotic trip to Mangshi, 3 days go!**
Hey, fellow travel lovers! Today I want to share with you a super interesting 3-day tour guide to Mangshi! Mangshi, this exotic place, is like a mysterious treasure waiting for us to explore.
** Food: A feast in Mangshi on the tip of your tongue **
In Mangshi, food is definitely a feast not to be missed. For breakfast, Yinjia is a good choice, it tastes better than Lianmei! It has a lot of ingredients, and don’t choose braised ones for noodle soup. The light taste can better highlight the original flavor of the ingredients. The point is, the free cold shrimp soup and porridge are absolutely amazing, the taste is super good, and your breakfast will start a great day.
The fried bullfrog at the live crab restaurant in Ruili, Xinwanchang, is especially delicious with rice. The minimum order is 4 crabs, which is enough for 2 people to finish. Imagine the fresh bullfrog paired with delicious crabs. The taste is simply irresistible.
Avocado milkshake is also one of the specialties of Mangshi! I have tried tea from many brands, and Lao Ganying's is more delicate, but most of them are too thick. The best one was the one I bought in Cambodia for $1. The taste was really unforgettable! The Pao Lu Da from Lao Gan Nai is the best I have ever tasted, and the coconut flavor of Menghuan Dehong is also quite strong. However, I don’t recommend the ones in the small town, as they seem to be sold only to tourists. Locals say that you can find authentic food at any stall during the day. The best Paoruda I have ever eaten was at the Ruili Myanmar Premium Tea Restaurant. All the cakes there were delicious, and the cold shrimp was also good! Friends who go to Ruili must not miss this store!
You must try Yanxing BBQ, the most popular restaurant in Mengxing Village. The price is very affordable, only a few dozen dollars to buy a bunch. The sauce of Dai-style barbecue has a special flavor. The grilled eggplant and fish were all sold out at 8:30 in the evening. Although it was not amazing, it was really cheap and delicious.
Qian's Dai cuisine at Wuyun Temple is said by locals to be delicious and authentic, and the price is affordable, but some people may not be used to the taste. After dinner, you can go to Shubao Tower for a stroll and then take a taxi to Bingwu Road. This will be another fulfilling day.
The taste of Ganying soaked chicken feet is average, but the passion fruit flavor is quite special. The chicken feet from Kuang-style Ersi next to A-Miao Restaurant are super delicious with the flavor of mountain pepper, which beats Gan’s in a second. There is only the lady boss cooking at A Miao Restaurant, so the food will be served a little slower, but it is very cost-effective! I heard they don't accept orders after 7pm. I recommend you try the mint fried spareribs and braised tofu. You can also try the papaya beef.
Yingli's pilaf tastes especially good when you are hungry, and it is even more delicious than you can imagine. You can ask the waiter to add sugar to the glutinous rice yourself. The combination of sweet and salty has a unique flavor. The side dishes of Jindai Mian Jingpo’s self-made pilaf at Mengbanasi Food City are also very delicious! If you want to try a variety of specialties, this shop is recommended.
Don’t miss Myanmar’s baba-throwing! In the evening, at the entrance of the alley opposite the ancient town, there is a Burmese girl who cooks delicious food (Figure 12). There are also local charcoal-grilled pancakes at the stall next to them. The white pancakes are especially delicious after adding ingredients, and they are only 3 yuan each. The black ones are not recommended.
**Beautiful scenery: the wonderful scenery of Mangshi**
Mangshi not only has delicious food, but also has intoxicating scenery. The Gold Pagoda and the Silver Pagoda are together. It is a good idea to take a taxi to visit the Silver Pagoda first and then visit the Gold Pagoda. The Silver Pagoda is mainly used for taking photos and checking in, while you can worship inside the Golden Pagoda, and there are tour guides who can explain the history of Buddhism to you. The Golden Pagoda was built privately. I heard that it has the same owner as the Rare Curiosity Garden.
Mengbanasi Rare Garden is worth a leisurely walk. There are free-range peacocks and various precious woods here. It is a private garden. After the visit, you will definitely be amazed at the owner's wealth and the beautifully built garden. Moreover, next to the Rare Curio Garden is Mengbana Food City, so you can go there for a meal after shopping. It is so convenient!
The Mangshi Museum allows you to learn about the local ethnic culture, and also contains some content about the Anti-Japanese War culture. Here, you can gain an in-depth understanding of the history and cultural background of Mangshi and experience the unique charm of this city.
**Accommodation: A comfortable place to stay**
Mangshi is not big, and a taxi usually costs only a few yuan, or at most a dozen yuan, so travel is very convenient. I stayed at Yunshang Qiyuan, which cost over 100 yuan a night. The courtyard of the B&B was particularly beautiful and the price was very reasonable. Moreover, there is a Dai town opposite, and you can have Lianmei breakfast in just a few minutes' walk, which is really convenient.
Rongrong’s Hair Salon is opposite Mangshi Square and is worth a visit! The shampoo massage is very comfortable, allowing you to relax your body and mind during your trip. You can go to wash your hair at night. After washing, there will be Jingpo square dance at 7pm in the square opposite. It is very integrated and the scene is very lively. You can enjoy the comfort after washing your hair while enjoying the wonderful dance.
Mangshi, this exotic place, has unique food, beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation. Come and start an unforgettable trip to Mangshi!
