On this trip, I attended the 2-hour longboard introductory course from the Good Wave Tribe, and there were just 3 people in the group class together. Since it is winter and the water is still a bit cold, the surf shop will provide us with cold-proof clothing for us to wear🫶🏽. The coach was very patient in explaining, trying his best to teach us beside him, the goal is to successfully stand up and take a picture 🤣📸. Bai Luju also has a guesthouse in Chuanfan Rock. It was very convenient to play in the water, and I could wash away the sand at the door. The bathroom was clean, but I was not used to the lack of a door. The journey takes about two hours, and you can also enjoy the scenery of southern Taiwan along the way. There is also a large parking lot in Nanwan, so you don’t have to worry about parking problems when you drive here. Stores The best thing about Nanwan is that there are all kinds of stores on the beach. I can go in and out at any time and enjoy the sun and beach freely. This is one of the reasons why I like Nanwan so much. There is no restraint, only a pure holiday atmosphere. Opening hours Nanwan is open all day in principle. However, if you want to engage in water activities, it is recommended to go during the day for safety. Usually, the water activities provided by the shop will start from about nine in the morning until five or six in the evening. Although you can also walk on the beach at night, the light is dim, so it is not suitable if you want to play in the water. Every time I come to Nanwan, I feel completely relaxed. There is a grandmother in the B&B, who is super kind. Her forever is amazing (the first time I made a guide online and went to a local specialty restaurant, I ordered forever, but it felt average). I ate the food made by this grandmother, it was so delicious... And when I stayed here, they told me a lot of things to avoid, which is very practical. Every time I come, I stay there for a long time. The price is affordable, the environment is clean, and there are washing machines and everything. I'm on my way back to Taichung after staying for 2 nights and 3 days from Sunday to Tuesday. Since it's a family trip, we decided to stay at South Bay. It was convenient to take a shower after swimming. If you stay somewhere else, you can come here and enjoy marine activities and use the shower room. The shower room costs 50 NTD. The simple foot washing machine costs 20 NTD and can be used for 40 seconds! There are stalls on both sides of the street at Kenting Night Market, and they are mostly food.
