All room types at Ohya are spacious, allowing you to move around freely 😂 One of the highlights of this room type is the large glass windows around the water play pool and soaking area. In the morning, sunlight streams in, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The water play pool is designed with a lounge chair shape, allowing you to lie down comfortably. Additionally, the bathroom in this room type is completely open (no doors), so if you mind this, you might want to choose a different option.

Unfortunately, the lower level of the lounge is not open. Overall, it’s a great experience, though the lounge is quite far from Terminal 1. A tip: don’t overeat in the lounge, as the onboard meals will leave you stuffed!

Later I went online and saw that Zhongli Guhua Garden Hotel was having a promotion with one night and two meals for a four-person room for only NT$5,990, so I booked it without hesitation. This is my favorite hotel with a swimming pool. The kids had been playing in the water in Lilliput for an entire afternoon and when we got to the hotel they were clamoring to go swimming in the swimming pool. There was still more than an hour before dinner, so I took them to the swimming pool to play in the water. The hotel's swimming pool is not big, but there are two pools. One of the pools is smaller, but the water is warm and has a massage switch. It is more like a sauna and cannot be used for swimming. There are lockers and shoe cabinets in the locker room. When you go to the service desk on the fifth floor to register for the locker key, the service staff will give you the key and you can return it to the service desk after swimming or fitness. The gym and swimming pool are both on the fifth floor. The most anticipated thing is the dinner buffet. The theme of this dinner is the Malaysian Food Festival. The food bar is not very diverse and there is not a lot of food, but the food this time is very suitable for my taste buds. Even if it is not very hearty, it still grabs my stomach. Because we ordered a special activity, if we purchase the accommodation and buffet separately, the buffet alone would cost 3,960 yuan, and the accommodation fee would be 3,630 yuan, totaling 7,590 yuan. So this special event also helped me save some money. Later, I saw on the official website that they had a cooperation with Lilliput Country, and the accommodation plus Lilliput Country ticket was quite cost-effective. The room is generally satisfactory. If I were to choose again, I would of course still choose the Liguhua Garden Hotel.

Before entering the park, I was greeted by rows of over 200 statues of Chiang Kai-shek—this is the famous "Statue Park." These statues, once scattered across Taiwan, were relocated here amidst the "de-authoritarianization" movement. Each statue bears a unique expression, whether standing solemnly or waving with a smile, seemingly narrating the diverse imaginations and projections of the people from different times and places.
