A Blooming Surprise in Incheon: A Review of Sunrise (Haedoji) Park
#cityplaybook
Before my visit, I honestly thought Haedoji Park would be just another small neighborhood park. However, upon arrival, I quickly realized I needed to drop the "small" from my preconception. The park itself was quite extensive, and the Haedoji Rose Garden, which was my ultimate destination, was surprisingly large. Its scale made me wonder if it might just be the top rose destination in Incheon.
One of the highlights was the rose tunnel, an absolute must for anyone looking to capture some life-long memories. Seeing families and couples happily taking photos together made me miss my partner dearly. While we couldn't come together this year, I'm determined to return next year and fill our camera with countless pictures.
Compared to the grand scale of the central rose festivals, the rose tunnel here might be described as cute and modest. However, it was more than sufficient to brighten one's mood while admiring the blossoms. With roses in full bloom, being enveloped in their fragrant aroma during a stroll was incredibly delightful. If you, like me, appreciate the scent of roses, there's truly no reason not to visit.
I highly recommend Songdo Haedoji Park as a premier rose destination in Incheon. Its proximity to Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet (Songhyeona) and Triple Street makes it an ideal spot to combine shopping with flower viewing. For someone like me who only knew Incheon Grand Park, Haedoji Park offered a fresh and wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it as a fantastic place to enjoy beautiful flowers
