Ichinoyu is an inn where all rooms have an open-air bath. The food and rooms are wonderful, but the price is not too high, making it the best value for money inn. After checking in at the counter decorated with the traditional marquetry that symbolizes Hakone, you can choose your yukata and amenities. Cups, obi, and tanzen (a jacket worn over a yukata) are provided in the room, but you can choose what you need, such as a toothbrush and cotton set, and then head to your room. The first thing to do when you enter the room is to install the insect repellent above the safe. We visited on a family trip! The cottage-like rooms are lined up around the parking lot. Only the representative can check in. It's also nice that the family can wait in the car. There is a large bath next to the entrance. It seems that you can also take a day trip to the baths. Ichinoyu does not have a shop, but right next to it is a Family Mart with a rare brown sign! The entrance to Susukinohara Ichinoyu has a warm atmosphere with wood grain like a villa. The Japanese-Western fusion is wonderful with warm lighting and rotating air conditioning on the ceiling.
