#summervacay Our stay at the hotel along the busy road of the melaka street was an enjoyable one. The location was good as it is just a two minutes walk to the jonkrr street main attractions. There are also several Peranakan restaurants where we had our meals there. The food are very authentic and we enjoyed the food over there. We tried several restaurants during our trips.

#summervacay The stay at the budget hotel right at the end of the jonker street is a good stay. We got it at 50usd per night for a triple family room. The room does not come with a bathtub. The hotel only has three storeys tall only. It is three minutes walk towards the jonker street performance stage. The hotel room is enough for a family of three. You can buy your breakfast at the ah ma restaurant just a minute walk away.

#summervacay The boutique hotel is very instagrammable. Apart from the lobby where you can find many ancient antiques there, the back of the hotel also has the older feel there. Taking the back lane of the hotel would bring you to the jonker street walk. The cafe at the back lane of the hotel is also very popular. You can also grab some local breakfast set at the shops at the back alley.

#summervacay The swiss heritage boutique hotel located at the jonker street is one of the hotels that we stayed. At the hotel lobby, you would be able to find several antiques here. There are several antiques and artefacts here too. It is just a two minute walk from the jonker street stage. You can also take a twelve minute walk all the way to the entrance of the jonker street and take some beautiful pictures of the river.

If you are visiting the melaka city and staying at the jonker street area, not only will you find many Peranakan restaurants, you would also find several hotel lobby decorated with Peranakan design and integrating their culture in.
