At Taeusgae, especially during low tide, visitors have a fascinating opportunity to discover hidden tide pools brimming with small marine life. The receding waters expose crevices and natural basins within the volcanic rocks, revealing a miniature ecosystem of crabs, small fish, and various shellfish. This makes for an engaging, interactive exploration, particularly for children or anyone curious about coastal ecology. A Photographer's Canvas for Dramatic Coastal Details
#summervacay
For photographers, Taeusgae presents a compelling canvas for capturing dramatic coastal details and intimate landscapes. The focus here is on the intricate textures and unique shapes of the volcanic rock formations, sculpted by centuries of erosion. You can capture the play of light on the wet rocks, the patterns of the retreating waves, and the subtle colors of the marine life in tidal pools. It offers a unique perspective on Jeju's geological artistry, away from the grander panoramas. This spot is ideal for close-up shots that highlight the raw, artistic details of the coastline.

Jeju Island summer travel destination known only to locals is here!
#SummerTravel
When it comes to Jeju beaches and snorkeling spots,
there are some famous spots~
If you don't like being crowded with tourists during summer vacation,
go to Taeutgae in Namwon-eup, Jeju!
This is a healing spot that only Jeju residents enjoy. It became known to tourists after appearing as the background for a drama.
When I went, there were only a few people who seemed to live in Jeju rather than tourists.
There was even a cute retriever with them😍
It felt like having a late lunch and leisurely enjoying the Jeju sea..
It definitely has a different vibe from tourist spots.
⚠️Caution|Since it's not a famous spot, there's only one small bathroom and no changing rooms or showers.
Of course, there's no admission fee :)
🍯Tip|Check the tide in advance if you want to swim.
The rocks are sharp, so aqua shoes are a must!
