Xichang Two Days and One Night Family Tour|Nanny-level Family Tour Guide
It’s really hard to comment on the weather in Chengdu in winter. Since I had a child, I’m more afraid of the cold and don’t want to go out at all. But the children still have to stay up on weekends. [Congratulate] is a good choice. Xichang, with its good weather, is almost a substitute for Sanya! The kids also love this place very much. High-speed trains are so convenient now. Special forces soldiers go there directly on weekends. There are so many fun and delicious things to do, and the photos are also very good.
🗺️Itinerary:

Xichang West Railway Station➡️Jianchang Ancient City➡️Torch Square➡️Bird Island Wetland Park➡️Moonlight Town➡️Golden Scale Beach
Day 2️⃣: Qionghai Beach City Walk
Diaoyutai➡️Lushan➡️Yinlin Beach➡️Dashiban Village➡️Return
📷Photography spots:
✅Jianchang Ancient City & Tang Garden
This ancient city has existed since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The buildings here are very distinctive. You can take photos on the city wall. The background of the green-tiled houses is very photogenic. The ancient city is more beautiful at night. During the day, I climbed the city wall to take pictures, strolled around and ate. The night view was beautiful at night. The two places are not far away.
✅Lushan
This is the highest mountain in Xichang City. There are many monkeys on the mountain, but the monkeys here are not as rude as those in Mount Emei. It’s okay if they don’t have food in their hands. Walk up the mountain (about 20 minutes) to Guangfu Temple
Or take the sightseeing bus up the mountain (5 yuan for a few minutes) to Guangfu Temple
➡️Visit the Liangshan Yi Slave Society Museum
➡️The observation deck overlooks the entire city🏙
➡️🚠Cable car/slide down the mountain (you can take the most beautiful sea view cableway)
You can also walk down the mountain. (One-way cable car 35, slide 40) But a more fun way to visit Lushan is to walk up (20 minutes), then take the cable car down (to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Qionghai), or take the slide down.
✅Dashiban Village
It is a small village with unique characteristics. There is a Lingying Temple in the village that you must visit. The orange-red walls are very suitable for taking pictures, very beautiful! You can rent Yi costumes in the village for taking photos, usually for 80 yuan. Avoid holidays when there are not many people. Two hours of walking around and taking photos is enough. You can also have a meal of "Lao Xiao Fresh Fish". One fish 🐟 three ways to eat, spicy and clear soup are available, which can satisfy both adults and children
✅Jinlin Beach (watch the sunset)
This is the most suitable beach for watching sunset in Xichang. Try to arrive early. The further you go inside, the fewer people there are. Children can dig in the sand while adults can take beautiful sunset photos. It is really a concrete manifestation of the peaceful years.
✅Diaoyutai
A wooden bridge stretches out to Qionghai Lake, and beside it there are various tree trunks deep in the water. This is the popular photo spot in Qionghai Lake. If you walk a little further forward, you can also take a boat to feed the seagulls (don’t buy biscuits from the shore, as the seagulls won’t eat them). You can walk along the plank road and take some photos, including trees of various shapes 🌴|feeding seagulls|fishing boats 🚤|Black Swan Coffee☕️. A bunch of beautiful photos along the way.
✅Moonlight style town
It feels like a branch island of Jeju Island. There are many photo spots, and every photo you take is beautiful. Navigate to "Bi Hai Yun Tian Hotel" and walk down the road next to it.
✅Silverscale Beach
There are fewer people here than at Jinlin Beach. The sand is bright white, and it is very relaxing when there are blue skies and white clouds. Children like the sand-digging project, which really liberates parents [Chukle] and can dig for half a day
✅Torch Square
The 56 huge red pillars on the square represent 56 ethnic groups. It is very shocking to feel the unique culture of the Yi people. The Torch Festival is held here.
🍜Food guide: Xichang fire pot barbecue (we went to eat Li Xiaochang, the environment is good and the taste is also very good), Huili chicken fire shreds, drunken shrimp, Liangshan snow (a bit like the lactic acid drink I drank when I was a child), mutton rice noodles, potato burgers, etc. are all local specialties. There are all kinds of delicious local fruits in different seasons.
🏨Accommodation Guide: The green coverage rate of Qionghai Hotel is high. There are free-range peacocks, black swans, squirrels and various birds living here🐦. Children like it very much. They open their eyes and look for peacocks.
🚄Transportation strategy: Chengdu high-speed train 🚄 to Xichang, 3 hours. Chengdu South➡️Xichang West, 149R/person (it is recommended to take the 8 am high-speed train) short time‼ ️The return ticket must be purchased in advance.
💗Other tips:
1. If you visit the above attractions quickly, you can go to the Nantan Farmer's Market, where there are many cheap fruits. Strawberries, blueberries, and instant freedom. There are different fruits in different seasons. Every time I go there, I will send a lot of fruits home.
2. Xichang has a big temperature difference between morning and evening, so you should bring thick clothes.
3. There are many fun and beautiful spots around Qionghai Lake. It is more pleasant to rent a car or drive around the lake. In order to allow the children to experience it firsthand, we chose to rent a mobile bicycle that children can sit on, because she has never sat on one and she likes it very much.
4. You need to scan the code when getting off the long-distance bus in Xichang. Please check if there is a code scanning machine next to the door when getting off the bus.
5. Search for Xichang Yuecheng Bus Card on Alipay or WeChat in advance, and then scan the code to ride the bus
