Bristol is indeed a mountain city. I hiked up and down the hills all day long. Hahahaha. We got off at Bristol Temple Meads train station. The toilet was very unique, with Bristol's famous suspension bridge above it. Then we started our walking tour of Bristol. We first went to The centre of Bristol, which is a very lively city centre with various grocery stalls. We went into St Nicholas Market, walked around and took some photos. While walking towards the University of Bristol, we came to a food stall and ordered some Chinese-style food, such as noodles and dumplings, which were pretty good. The university that impressed me the most was the University of Bristol. It was just like going to school in Hogwarts. Harry Potter fans were ecstatic. Bristol museum is a collision of nature and art. The display cabinets are designed very attentively and it is free to visit, which is a pleasant surprise. In the evening we walked to the Bristol Christmas Market, which was full of Christmas atmosphere. For me who loves winter, traveling in winter is full of happiness. During my visit to Bristol, I spent a significant amount of time around the Temple Meads area, which was an enriching experience filled with history and vibrant street art. One of the standout spots I discovered was the **Exchange Centre**, a charming and cozy place nestled near Temple Meads Station. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and comfort, as though I had entered someone’s home rather than a typical urban center. The Exchange Centre has a relaxed, homely atmosphere with its eclectic decor, comfortable seating, and welcoming staff. It’s the kind of place that invites you to linger and unwind, whether you're grabbing a coffee or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The blend of vintage furniture, plants, and soft lighting made it feel like a hidden gem within the city—perfect for taking a break from the bustling streets of Bristol. The surrounding area, particularly around Temple Meads, is a wonderful blend of old and new. While the station itself is a grand, historic building, the surrounding streets are filled with street art and murals that add an exciting contrast. The **Temple Quay** area, just a short walk from the Exchange Centre, showcases some fantastic pieces, making the whole experience feel like a walk through an open-air gallery. Overall, my time in the Bristol Temple Meads area, especially at the Exchange Centre, was incredibly cozy and homely. It was a perfect spot to slow down, reflect, and take in the unique blend of history and creativity that defines Bristol.
