Trains, Trees, and The Vale: A Morning Glimpse of Campus
#mydailycommute Every day, I take the West Midlands train from Five Ways to University station—a short but familiar commute that’s become part of my routine. The journey only takes a few minutes, but it passes through some of the most recognizable parts of campus.
As the train moves along, I catch glimpses of The Vale, with its student halls surrounded by trees and the lake reflecting the morning light. Sometimes I spot students walking to lectures or jogging along the footpaths. It’s a small window into university life before I’ve even arrived.
Though brief, the ride is peaceful and efficient—just enough time to sip my coffee, check my messages, or simply watch the city give way to campus greenery.
