The surrounding supporting resources are not only rich and diverse, but also of high quality. Whether you want to visit the Wuhou Temple to experience the historical charm, or go to Jinli Ancient Street and Kuanzhai Alley to experience the folk customs, the distance is within 5 km, making travel extremely convenient. - 💗Other tips: Located in the bustling downtown area, it is recommended to give priority to the subway for travel. The Chunxi Road subway station can be reached directly, which can easily avoid traffic jams. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and surprisingly upgraded my room to a suite. The housekeeping department cleaned the room quickly and well, and the restaurant service was equally attentive. After learning that I was fond of The House Collective and had checked in to the other three hotels, the hotel specially prepared a commemorative card, a cute Temple House panda doll and postcards, and thoughtfully decorated the room and gave a cake according to the anniversary, full of surprises and emotion. 💰Average Consumption Hotel prices vary depending on the room type, season, and length of stay. It is located at the edge of Taikoo Li pretty much next to the apple store. When we arrived at the entrance/lobby of the hotel we were pleased with what we saw already, a very quaint environment that we would enjoy. More the the beautiful facilities and the guestrooms, I must say that the service here tops it all. I have nothing but the best feedback from the check in to check out was by far the best experience we had. Double rooms start at 1,699 not including breakfast. The Temple House Chengdu is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in when it comes to service! The attention to detail and their guests service is top class. From the moments we checked until we checked out, it was nothing but just pleasant. The room that we had was massive which is fully equipped with everything that you need and want from a luxury hotel. They even welcomed us with anniversary gifts in our room and all the staff was very welcoming. We stayed there for two nights and had dinner at Tivano and our experience was PERFECT. They made sure that our wedding anniversary at their hotel would be an unforgettable one and to be honest it was indeed an experience that tops it all.. It is conveniently located in the middle of Tai Koo Li so guests can enjoy shopping around the area since it is a fancy and high end shopping area in Chengdu. It's been a long time since I last visited Chengdu. As a city where hotel brands developed relatively early, it has collected almost all the luxury brands from the five major groups except Hyatt, along with niche boutique hotels like The Temple House, Diaoyutai, and Six Senses. Unfortunately, their performances were all rather mediocre, with several even considered the weakest links of their respective brands. This time I stayed at The Temple House in Taikoo Li, booking their 90-square-meter Studio Terrace Suite priced at 4k to 5k per night. The à la carte breakfast delivered to the room costs about 200-300 RMB per person, with average taste. I heard the breakfast at The Middle House in Shanghai (Jay Wang's favorite) is excellent - I'll try it next time. The turndown service included a facial mask from The Temple House Spa, nothing particularly special. Lastly, the terrace suite is truly spacious, and the entire hotel has an open layout with two Michelin-starred restaurants. The bar also has great ambiance. At night when the torches are lit, I had a couple drinks downstairs - the atmosphere was wonderful. Didn't try the vegetarian dishes at the Michelin one-star teahouse, but on the afternoon before departure after shopping, I spent two hours there drinking tea. I've always been a fan of The House Collective brand, and this time I stayed in their Selection Suite. The 90-square-meter space was incredibly spacious, featuring The House Collective's signature design with hidden LED lighting – minimalist yet luxurious. Many thoughtful details showcase exquisite craftsmanship, making this a hotel that looks even more stunning at night than during the day. The public areas are beautifully designed, where the historic architecture harmonizes perfectly with the new building, while blending seamlessly with the overall Taikoo Li style. 📍Location: The hotel sits in Chengdu's most central location at Taikoo Li, forming an iconic duo with the IFS Panda across the street – one of only two hotels in Chengdu's golden downtown area. The service was exceptional and genuinely delightful, standing out even among other C6-tier hotels. 🖼Dining Highlights: The breakfast was outstanding with fresh ingredients – the noticeable quality difference in fruits compared to other hotels proved this. It perfectly balanced Chengdu specialties like dragon wontons, Zhong dumplings, and noodles with excellent Western options. The Eggs Benedict and steak with sunny-side-up eggs were both delicious. Temple House is located in the Taikoo Li business district of Chengdu. It opened in 2015 and has approximately 100 rooms. Designed by renowned designer David Hardy, this hotel combines traditional and modern elements to create a unique ambience. Temple House is part of the famous House Collection, which also owns other branches in China, such as The Opposite House in Beijing and The Middle House in Shanghai. The hotel's location is perfect, located in the bustling Taikoo Li. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite when we checked in. The room feels very homely and the decoration style is very comfortable to live in. I especially like the high-end atmosphere of the bathroom, which makes people feel relaxed. In terms of service, apart from the reception at check-in, there was not much presence at other times. Overall, The Temple House is the ceiling in Chengdu in terms of experience and price. However, if this level of service is placed in other cities, such as Shanghai, it may be less competitive (based only on this stay experience). In addition, except for the suites, other room types feel too "open". I personally prefer small and square bedrooms and don't like this design very much.
