New found See See Lok Lok at Thomson! Always love Lok Lok in Malaysia. Finally found one worth going in singapore. Other than Lok Lok, can also try the different soup based and have the food cooked. Worth going this new year! #newyearadventure

It's the time of the year again for some Chinese New Year Plant Shopping! Avoid the crowd and head down now before things get crash and crowded. Thomson has over 10 nurseries in the hood and some of them include Hawaii landscape, ji Mei, far east and candy horticulture. Do check out the fresh flowers section of Candy or Far East for some nice blooms especially the peonies!!!

#celebratewithtrip there is a variety of different trails in Thomson nature park and I tried walking the rambutan trail, the ruins and figs trail, the langur trail and the macaque trail. the trees are so tall and it looks like a deep forest. however you feel so close to nature it is actually quite a relaxing walk over here. take some time off your busy schedule and have a short walk here on your own. it may be slippery especially when it’s drizzling so do be careful. there isn’t really any steep slopes as well, except one steep pathway but it is manageable. overall would recommend coming here to visit.

#celebratewithtrip if you are bored of the typical places to hike in Singapore such as mount faber , mac Ritchie etc you can consider going to Thomson nature park this days. especially with the new mrt line it might be easier to reach here. so I took a direct bus to the Thomson nature park and this is the main entrance. it was nice and looks really good unfortunately it was raining hence couldn’t take much pictures nor o too far deep into the different trails. nevertheless the place looks pretty cool and have quite nice aesthetics and also talk about its history where it was once a hainan village. interesting thing to learn about.

Personally love this area where there are plenty of bamboo trees. Check this place out some day for a walk.

It is located adjacent to Central Catchment Nature Reserve near Old Upper Thomson Road. The park is being developed on the site of a former Hainan village which was established in the 1800s and abandoned in 1975. It has five trails spanning 3.8km into previous kampung areas. Now it is Singapore's newest and seventh nature park. In the 1930s, the Hainan Village came into existence when Hainanese immigrants settled here. The village was well-known for its sweet and juicy rambutans. In the 1960s, the village grew to almost 100 families. In 1980s, the village was cleared and the land was returned to the state. Afterwards, vegetation reclaimed the abandoned land and secondary forest regenerated in this area. The opening hours of Thomson Nature Park are from 7am to 7pm daily. Entering or remaining in the park after 7pm is not allowed. #mustdo

#Singapore Attractions Stepping into the park gate, I was impressed by the towering primitive jungle in front of me. The tall and straight trees are lush and green, casting mottled and charming light and shadows. Occasionally, unidentified creatures cry out from the treetops, adding a strong sense of mystery to this primeval woodland. The breeze blows gently, and the leaves rustle, creating a natural and leisurely atmosphere. Strolling along the winding wooden plank road, the scenery in front of you keeps changing. Sometimes it is a deep valley, sometimes it is a towering waterfall, each place contains the infinite charm of nature. Occasionally, you can see some birds and flying birds flying through the woods, which undoubtedly adds to the vitality of this pristine forest.

#singaporetrip It’s very friendly to kids coz it’s not very big and there are lots of mushrooms ,and they can see steams and find squirrels. It’s really like hiking in the forest. Go with your friends and have a lot of fun. Our family had an exciting adventure today, spending time hiking and exploring Thomson Nature Park. We discovered the ruins of old houses, encountered some playful monkeys and squirrels, and even met fellow nature enthusiasts along the way. It's truly amazing to experience the feeling of being in the jungle right next to the bustling city of Singapore.

Santorini is very beautiful. The water is clear and the environment is comfortable. I strolled through the maze-like streets in the afternoon. Every place is a place to take beautiful photos. It is quiet and peaceful. The seafood is worth a try. But Chinese food is so expensive. I can’t stomach Chinese food. Santorini is one of the must-go destinations for travel.

It was a great experience here and I wanted to be there again 😁
