Wat Chiang Chom (Wat Chedi Plong) Address:
39 Chediplong Rd, Tambon Chang Phueak, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50300
📍Wat Chiang Chom, a beautiful temple with an ancient pagoda in the middle of the city.
Driving into the Chedi Plong community, I was struck by the old pagoda in the area of Wat Chiang Chom. The highlight is the chimney-shaped pagoda. I read in the history that it is an architectural style that is assumed to have been influenced in part by Chinese pagodas. It can be found in 3 temples in Chiang Mai: Chedi Wat Ram Ping (Tapotharam), Chedi Wat Phuk Hong, and Chedi Wat Chiang Chom. The area around Wat Sa-ak is beautiful and very orderly. When I asked the temple, I found out that in the past, it was abandoned. It was recently renovated and there were monks residing there only a few years ago. The chapel was just built, not very big, and has very beautiful patterns. After paying respect to the principal Buddha image, I felt very fulfilled. I would like to invite my friends and brothers and sisters to come along this route. The old pagoda is very beautiful and the temple is very beautiful as well.
Location: Pracha Uthit Road (Chedi Plong Community), Tambon Chang Phueak, Amphoe Mueang, Chiang Mai

#Wat Chiang Chom (Wat Chedi Plong), Chiang Mai
#Spiritual tourist attraction, a temple that locals call #Wat Chedi Plong, located in Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang District, #Chiang Mai
The pagoda of this temple is an ancient site with a pagoda with a doorway with Buddha images all around, which locals call "Pong", meaning a window, which is a space for enshrining Buddha images around the pagoda.
There are 7 layers of round pagodas, each layer has niches with Buddha images all around. This style is similar to the pagodas of Wat Phuk Hong and Wat Ram Ping (Tapotharam) pagodas.
It was built during the reign of King Tilokarat of Chiang Rai after King Tilokarat, the 10th king of the Mangrai Dynasty. This temple is also a temple that is a counterpart to Phra That Doi Suthep.

[Thailand] They have it here too?! The pink Ganesha that is so famous in Thailand
Visited in August 2023
*Wat Ploen Akhart
This is also a huge pink Ganesha🦣
I was surprised at its size‼️
Located in the Ploen Akhart area of Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, this temple is famous for its huge Ganesha statue and was built in 1977😊
The glittering golden main hall, built under the influence of the Taj Mahal design, was completed in 1996.
Next to the main hall across the pond is a huge pink Ganesha statue, said to be the largest in Asia.
It is said to be popular among Thai people as a photogenic temple✨
Here, too, there are statues of different colors for each day of the week, and you can make a wish at your own place✨
The glittering main hall is also beautiful and recommended😊

A trip to northern Thailand's Chiang Mai and coffee plantations
#besttrip2023
#wintertrip #thaifood #thaicafe #thaistreetfood #thaiairways #thaimassage
Access: Thai Vietjet Airways
Tourist attractions: Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai
Wat Phra Singh
The purpose of this trip to Thailand was to visit TOKI coffee farm in northern Thailand and learn about Thai coffee beans.
This was my first time in Thailand, and I stayed at a coffee farm in the north, based in Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai was very lively during its annual festival.
The Thai food at the Thai food stalls is very delicious and I think it suits Japanese people very well.
The cafe scene in Thailand is also very advanced, very stylish and unified, so cafe hopping is recommended.
There are also many massage shops, and the prices vary depending on the shop, but this time I went to a shop that was more expensive than usual, but the service was excellent and good.
Choosing the shop is important.
Japanese is not widely spoken, and Thai and English are the mainstream.
The city of Bangkok is nice, but the downtown feel of Chiang Mai is highly recommended.

Chiang Chom Temple (Chimney Chedi Temple)
Wat Chiang Chom or Wat Chedi Plong is an ancient beautiful temple in Chiang Mai. Chedi Plong means a niche for enshrining the Buddha image around the chedi. Wat Chedi Plong is named after the shape of the chedi. Currently, only one chedi is left. The highlight of this temple is the chimney-shaped chedi, an architecture that is assumed to have been partially influenced by China, or what is called "Tha". There are 3 temples in Chiang Mai: Chedi Wat Ram Poeng, Chedi Wat Phuk Hong, and Chedi Wat Chiang Chom. Wat Chedi Plong has been renovated and a Buddha image was created as the principal Buddha image in the chapel by Phra Thep Wachi Thachan, Deputy Chief of the Chiang Mai Province Sangha and Abbot of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan. Wat Chedi Plong is a clean and shady temple, very suitable for making merit and worshiping the Buddha. The temple is not very big. You can park your car in the temple. Wat Chedi Plong is located on Soi Chedi Plong, Pracha Uthit Road, Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. Don't forget to stop by and take beautiful pictures with the chimney chedi. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. #VisitChiangMai #MakeMeritAndWorship #OldTemplesChiangMai #BeautifulTemplesChiangMai #ThaiTemples #TouristAttractionsInChiangMai #BeautifulTemples
