Wat Khao Banjob, the Gateway to Heaven, Makham District, Chanthaburi Province.
Visiting Wat Khao Banjob, one can pay respects to the Buddha image and walk through the Gateway to Heaven, which is a natural arch formed by a 100-year-old Samphong tree.
Wat Khao Banjob is situated within the Khao Soi Dao National Park, where it meets the Khitchakut Mountain Range. The temple offers a tranquil atmosphere suitable for meditation. Within the temple grounds, there is a beautiful, lush natural environment, abundant with forests, waterfalls, streams, and suspension bridges that tourists can explore. Not far from the ordination hall, visitors will find the Heavenly Door, a natural pathway for monks on their alms round, which requires passing through a natural tree arch, specifically a Samphong tree that is over a hundred years old, about 10 meters tall, and with a trunk circumference that takes about 10 people to encircle.
This is a highlight and a popular spot for tourists to take photos.
