Magnificent bats 🦇🦇 Learn the story of an ancient church 🕍
Wat Pho Bang Khla is located in Bang Khla District, next to the Bang Pakong River, approximately 23 km from Chachoengsao city. No one can say when the flying bats came to the temple. If you come in the evening, you might see a flock of bats flying out to find food. It's quite an exciting sight. There is also an ancient church that is believed to have been built around 2310-2325 during the reign of King Taksin the Great. It is in the Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin styles. The four-sided chapel is made of brick and plaster, with a gable roof covered with tortoise shell tiles made from burnt clay. Inside the chapel is a reclining Buddha statue. It is a tourist attraction that should not be missed.

Wat Pho Bang Khla
Wat Pho Bang Khla is located in Chachoengsao province, about 20 kilometers from the city center. This serene temple is surrounded by lush greenery and features an ancient reclining Buddha chapel where visitors can pay their respects.
The temple is also famous for being home to a large number of fruit bats, whose chirping fills the air. Despite their presence, the area is surprisingly free of unpleasant odors. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the temple grounds and even feed fish by the Bang Pakuk River nearby.

📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
Chachoengsao is a province that I visit very often because it is close to Bangkok. I drive 30-40 kilometers and I will arrive.
A place to visit suitable for those who like to make merit and like to eat delicious food.
This time we came back to Bangkhla. We intended to pay homage🙏to the reclining Buddha enshrined in a (very) old temple. The Buddha is more beautiful and graceful than anywhere else I have ever seen.
The murals have just been renovated but still maintain the original style. There are pictures of Thai elephants in the past that look like they are real. It is very worth seeing.

📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
Chachoengsao Province, or what is known as Paet Riw, got its name from the fact that the snakehead fish here are very large, to the point of having 8 stripes. The Bang Pakong River is brackish water that nourishes the area, creating fertility.
Wat PhoBangkhla is located on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. The opposite bank is Ko Lat. It is not clear when it was built. During the reign of King Taksin the Great, he set up his army at this temple to fight the Burmese army that had set up camp at Wat Pak Nam Jolo.
This temple is full of large trees. Only the old temple is open.

🚙Take a trip to Wat Pho Bang Khla, an ancient temple in Chachoengsao. See bats
🛕Wat Pho Bang Khla is a temple of the Mahanikaya sect. It is located in Bang Khla Subdistrict, Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province. It is located on an area of approximately 31 rai. The temple is home to a large number of rainforest bats. These bats have been living in the temple for a long time. No one has clearly recorded them. As far as I know, they have been there since the time when Phra Khru Sutalongkot was the abbot from 1930 to 1966. He was a monk who had compassion for all animals. 🙏🙏🙏

Bang Khla Cafe has opened again!
Newly opened cafe, BARCODE42
The shop is located in Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province.
For those who come to visit the floating market, come to worship at Wat Pak Nam Jolo, come and relax with the atmosphere of the shop by the Bang Pakong River at this cafe. The shop is decorated with lots of trees, the weather is not hot at all, very shady, cool breeze, comfortable view, comfortable to the eyes and mind. The decoration of the shop is in a camping style. And if you come in the evening, the atmosphere should be feel good. The shop doesn't only have a drink menu. There are also snacks and one-dish meals. The coffee tastes good. We ordered normal sweetness. It was an okay sweetness, medium, not too sweet.
Price 55-100

WatPhoBangKla is a temple located on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. It is believed that it has been around since the late Ayutthaya period. It is believed that it was once a resting place for King Taksin the Great when he led his army to fight the Burmese at Pak Nam Jolo.
Inside, there is an ancient and timeless temple that is hundreds of years old. It has a four-sided roof from the late Ayutthaya period. The roof is covered with turtle shell tiles. The roof was repaired again in 1942. Later, the roof collapsed, so a new roof had to be built to replace the original in 1998. Currently, only the cement walls and the reclining Buddha image remain as originals.
Another highlight of the temple is the flying foxes🦇, which are found here in the daytime. There are hundreds of thousands of flying foxes🦇🦇🦇 perched on the branches of trees. Which can be seen very clearly. Anyone who comes to visit Bang Khla District must not miss it.

🙏Wat Pho Bang Khla, home of the flying foxes
Wat Pho Bang Khla, Chachoengsao
Located in Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province, according to the stories of the local elders, it is not certain when Wat Pho Bang Khla was built, but it is assumed that it was built in the late Ayutthaya period and is believed to have been a resting place for King Taksin the Great when he led his army to fight the Burmese at Pak Nam Jo Lo (1 km from the temple) around the year 2309.
The temple is quiet, the water is clean and beautiful. Currently, only the original plaster walls and the reclining Buddha image remain.
Inside the temple, there is a large pavilion with cast statues of many famous monks.
Inside Wat Pho Bang Khla, it is shady and full of trees. Another interesting thing is the flying foxes. Here, there are hundreds of flying foxes perched on the branches of trees during the day, which can be clearly seen. No one knows when the flying foxes came to live at the temple because when they could remember, the elders said that when they saw these bats, the flying foxes were very big. Weighing up to 800 grams, they come out to find food at night. One thing that I admire about this temple is its cleanliness. It can be noticed that this temple has hundreds of bats, but there is no stench from bat droppings at all. And you can hardly see bat droppings anywhere. It can be said that the temple has managed this part very well.
The temple is shady and quiet, very suitable for worshiping and making merit. If you have free time, try to stop by Wat Pho Bang Khla. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
📍Open daily from 08.00-17.00 hrs.
Please dress appropriately when entering the temple.
