🙏Luang Pho To of Wat Sakhla is a large Buddha statue built alongside Wat Sakhla. It is an art form from the U Thong period, Mara-Vijaya posture, lotus base, open mouth, flame-shaped halo, and narrow arms. It is enshrined inside the ordination hall. We can also pass under the ordination hall. The entrance to the ordination hall is an archway with Rahu, which looks intimidating. Rahu represents the warding off and protection from evil.
🪷The two brothers are half-bodies facing each other, in the postures of forbidding relatives and the posture of forbidding the ocean, which are ancient Buddha statues from the Ayutthaya period.
🗼The leaning prang is an ancient prang. Over a hundred years ago, there was a flood, causing the ground that floated on the mud to sink. The prang leaned to the west by about 15 degrees.
🙏Phra Sangkachai is very large and beautifully crafted. It stands out and is enshrined in the courtyard in front of the temple. Anyone who comes to visit Wat Sakhla Then you must come to visit and pay homage to this Phra Sangkachai statue.
