Another important point is Phra Maha That Chedi Phakdi Prakat or Phra Maha Chedi Kao Yot, a three-story prang with four porches that can be seen from far away. It is a beautiful temple on a hill that feels magical and sacred. You should go and worship at least once in your life. Importantly, there is a viewpoint by the sea and you can take pictures at almost every spot. #songkran2024 Wat Thang Sai is hilltop pagoda built in 1996 to commemorate the 50th year of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s reign. The pagoda (Pramahatart Chedi Pakdepragard) is located on a headland (Tong Chai Mountain) about 3km outside the village of Ban Krut. Easily accessible by either motorbike, taxi, bicycle or on foot. There is parking at the top of the hill near the seated Buddha and it’s a short walk to the pagoda.
