May Day Holiday Day 2: Mount Shaohua Scenic Area Hiking Recap: 1️⃣ Scenic Area Introduction: The scenic area is divided into two parts, after entering, take a shuttle bus to the first stop where the cable car is located. The cable car route is the Qianlong Temple area, no need to hike, the whole journey is by cable car, about 2 kilometers on foot; The second stop of the shuttle bus is the Shimen Gorge area, which is a water route with a gentle path, about 6 kilometers on foot. 🈶🈶🈶 Trip Recap: 9:10 Arrived at the scenic area parking lot; 9:30 Took the shuttle bus to the cable car queue, ready to head to Qianlong Temple area; Queued for nearly 2h, at 11:15 took the cable car, arrived at 11:30; After arriving by cable car, the path is mostly flat, about 1.5 kilometers one way; 13:00 Reached the viewing platform, passing by the glass walkway on the way; No queue for the cable car down the mountain, took the cable car at 13:30, arrived at the shuttle bus stop; No queue for the shuttle bus either, a 15min ride, arrived at Shimen Gorge area at 13:50; After resting and eating, started exploring Shimen Gorge area at 14:30, took about 40min to reach the Celestial Waterfall, about 2.5h to the Stone Bridge, the whole journey is 6 kilometers, playtime is about 2.5-3h; A few impressions: 1️⃣ The scenery is beautiful, both areas are worth visiting; 2️⃣ Before entering the scenic area, they queue to collect parking fees before letting you in; 3️⃣ To go up the mountain, you must buy a cable car ticket, you cannot climb up on your own; 4️⃣ The queueing experience for the cable car is very good, everyone in the queue has a seat and can sit while waiting; 5️⃣ Scenic area ticket is 60 yuan, shuttle bus round trip is 30 yuan, cable car round trip is 130 yuan, sightseeing car round trip is 15 yuan; group purchase may offer a discount.
