Wonjeoksan Wandering
#summervacay Checked out Wonjeoksan and it was exactly the kind of hike I needed, calm, green, and totally unbothered by the outside world. The trail kicks off gently, weaving through a thick forest that stays shady and cool most of the way. It’s not a flashy mountain or anything, but it’s got that slow-and-steady charm that sneaks up on you.
There are a few steeper bits that get the legs moving, but for the most part, it’s a smooth stroll. What I loved most was the quiet, barely saw anyone, just birds doing their thing and the occasional squirrel hopping by. Every now and then, you get these little clearings where the trees break and you can spot the hills rolling out in the distance.
The summit isn’t massive, but it’s peaceful and perfect for a quick snack and some deep breaths. No rush, no stress, just good, grounded nature time. If you’re looking for an easygoing hike that still clears your head, Wonjeoksan totally delivers.
