🇭🇰Hong Kong Disneyland🎆 Frozen and Halloween limited performances✨
#MarchGoodPlaces2025
One of the purposes of this trip to Hong Kong is to visit Hong Kong Disneyland, which I have not visited for a long time. It has been nearly ten years since I last came here. The biggest change here is probably the addition of a new Frozen park, so as soon as the park opened, the first place I rushed to was the Frozen park. It is highly recommended! Although Hong Kong Disneyland is small, it has a lot of delicious food and fun!
👉🏻Our recreational facilities👈🏻
(I didn’t buy a fast pass this time)
❄️Frozen Park❄️
(It is recommended to go there right after the park opens to avoid queuing, but we returned to the park at around 4pm and the queues for the rides were not very long)
✨Snow Ridge Luge Roller Coaster
(A roller coaster that is suitable for everyone to play, and you can also enjoy the entire park from a high place)
✨Magic Snow Fantasy Journey Boat
(It was more exciting and visually enjoyable than I thought, and I went there a second time later)
🧸Toy Story 🧸
Toy soldiers parachuting
(A classic and fun facility where you can see the park while going up and down)
Remote Control Car
(Like a pirate ship, but it swings from side to side, very fun)
🦹Villain Stage Show🦹 (Because we went during Halloween, there were limited performances)

This restaurant is located in the Frozen Park of Hong Kong Disneyland. The style is based on the Kingdom of Arendelle. There are photos of Elsa and Anna on the wall, making people feel like walking into a movie. Although the cost of the meal itself is high, the secret recipe lamb shank is delicious and tender, and the portion is large, so it is definitely worth ordering. It is also very reasonable considering the prices in Hong Kong and the theme park.

Magical Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland may be the small compared to the other Disneylands, but that does not makes it less enjoyable. In fact, the shorter queues and lesser crowd makes it much more relaxing. It is a great entry point to visiting Disney parks if you have not been to one and is rather intimidated by the effort required in planning a visit.
Do not miss the stage shows, The Festival of the Lion King and Mickey & the Wondrous Book. Mystic Manor which is exclusive to Hong Kong is very much enjoyable too, and great for younger kids who might not dare to try the Haunted Mansion in other Disneylands. The final show, Momentous, at park closing should not be missed.
Tip: Shop throughout the day when you go around the park rather than leaving it until the last for Main Street. The crowd during shop closing will not make it an enjoyable shopping experience.

I think the best thing about Hong Kong Disneyland is the short wait times and the greetings!!
The Frozen area is the most recent addition to Hong Kong Disneyland, and most visitors go there.
But even so, the wait times are short, and you can even ride the boat ride in 15 minutes!!
There are also plenty of in-park greetings, and each person gets a longer greeting time!
It's a great opportunity to spend some fun time with the characters♪

Hong Kong Disneyland's Frozen Photo Spots
Let's explore the Frozen-themed resort!
A brand-new Frozen-themed area has been added to Hong Kong Disneyland, located at the farthest point from the park's entrance! Opened in 2023, the "World of Frozen," inspired by the world of "Frozen," is one of the largest of its kind globally, making it a must-visit attraction.
Visitors from around the world are flocking to this area, where you can take memorable photos with beloved characters and enjoy attractions with relatively short wait times.

💞Recommendation: Very good for taking photos, suitable for children~
🗓️Itinerary:
Arrived at Disney at 8:30 in the morning and waited outside to enter (remember to bring a small cookie when queuing outside, otherwise you will definitely not have time to eat breakfast when you get up early to catch the bus, and you will be very hungry~)
Entered the park at 9:30 and rushed to Frozen!
It was super fun~~~
Going to play Flying Dumbo is also suitable for children~
I think the meals in the restaurant are all delicious!
I especially love ginseng chicken🤤

Hong Kong Disneyland One-Day Tour Guide
Planning a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland? Check this out❗❗
This guide will help you avoid common pitfalls and hassles💥💥
If you're not very familiar with Hong Kong yet, save this guide for future reference💕
📍Mobile Data
Before heading to Hong Kong, purchase a one-day data package on Alipay to ensure smooth internet access.
🚅Transportation
1. Bus: Depart from Shenzhen Longgang → Lian Tang Port → Disneyland Bus Station (I chose the bus option and bought tickets on the Yongtong Bus official account).
2. High-speed Rail + MTR: From Shenzhen North to Hong Kong West Kowloon. After arriving in Hong Kong, take the MTR to Sunny Bay Station, then transfer to the Disneyland Resort Line. The park is right at the exit, and you can even ride the Mickey-themed train.
(I haven’t tried the high-speed rail + MTR option, but it’s here for reference.)
💥💥Tips to Avoid Pitfalls
1. Tickets: Purchase tickets in advance on the Hong Kong Disneyland app. Many say buying directly from the official website may include small gifts (I bought mine from another platform).
2. Dining: Consider buying a 3-in-1 or 2-in-1 meal voucher for better value.
3. Power Bank: Charging stations in the park are expensive and hard to find, so bring your own.
4. Birthday Perks: Visit City Hall on your birthday to claim a commemorative badge.
5. Fireworks Show: Arrive at the plaza garden 30 minutes early for the best view of the fireworks and castle. Showtimes vary, so check the schedule.
📕Attraction Experiences
1. Frozen Ever After: An indoor boat ride featuring the climax of "Let It Go" followed by a thrilling drop—fun and exciting! A must-try!!!
2. It’s a Small World: A gentle boat tour through continents—relaxing and non-thrilling.
3. Jungle River Cruise: A jungle adventure by boat with lively commentary from the skipper—great atmosphere.
4. Mystic Manor: A story-driven ride with immersive effects.
5. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!: A laser-shooting game—super fun!
6. Carousel: The carousel at dusk is incredibly romantic and photogenic.
7. Flights of Fantasy Parade: Short but joyful, with lots of crowd interaction!
8. Castle Fireworks: The fireworks are unmissable! End your magical day with the light show + fireworks display.🤭

🌴 Recommended Attractions
- Tsim Sha Tsui: Perfect for eating, shopping, and exploring. This area has everything you need in one place.
- Peak Tower: Take the Peak Tram to the top and visit the Sky Terrace 360° for a stunning panoramic view of Hong Kong. The scenery is breathtaking, and the weather is usually pleasant.
- Disneyland: A must-visit spot in Hong Kong. Don't miss the Frozen-themed area. Lines can be long at times, so plan your visit carefully. We recommend heading to this zone first upon arrival.
- Ngong Ping Cable Car: Ride the cable car to visit the Big Buddha at Ngong Ping. Opt for the Crystal Cabin with a glass floor for an exciting experience and amazing views.
🚗 Transportation Tips: Personally, I love traveling around Hong Kong by bus. It's convenient, stops close to attractions, and involves minimal walking. Plus, the wait times are short.
🏷️ Tips: Hong Kong involves a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Also, many local restaurants still accept cash only, so make sure to exchange some money beforehand.

Frozen Ever After in Hong Kong Disneyland
World of frozen is a must experience in Hong Kong Disneyland. Embark on a delightful boat ride through the North Mountain, where you can witness Elsa's magical powers and see the magnificent Ice Palace. The journey is filled with memorable scenes and beloved songs from the movies. This magical journey involves surprises like a backward and forward plunge down short waterfalls, so may get wet! It’s wonderful.
How to get there:
When riding the MTR, your final connection will be the Disneyland Resort Line from Sunny Bay Station. Trains operate daily every few minutes between Sunny Bay Station and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, from early morning until late at night.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is only about 30 minutes by train from the following MTR stations:
• Hong Kong International Airport Station (transfer at Tsing Yi Station to Sunny Bay Station)
• Kowloon Station
• Hong Kong Station

World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland is the world’s first Frozen-themed land, officially opened in November 2023. Inspired by Disney’s Frozen films, it brings the kingdom of Arendelle to life with immersive attractions like Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Guests can meet Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, enjoy themed food, and experience seasonal decor like summer and snow. The area is beautifully designed with mountains, a fjord, and Elsa’s Ice Palace. รีวิว World of Frozen ในฮ่องกงดิสนีย์แลนด์❄️⛄️
Magic from the first step in 😍 It's like you've really stepped into Arendelle. The song "Let It Go" plays softly all the way.
When I got on the Frozen Ever After ride, the scene in the trolls' cave was the highlight. Each troll doll came to life. The holographic scene of Elsa and Anna was like watching a live movie right in front of me. The lights, colors, and sounds were all very premium.🫶🏻
When evening fell, the snowflake fountain in the center of the zone started to light up🏮, becoming another romantic corner where people flocked to take pictures. This corner was like being in a real movie scene. The fountain reflected the stars, the waterfall flowed gently, and the lights from the riverside restaurants reflected on the water surface, making it feel like a winter festival all year round. Seeing Elsa's castle glowing in the distance was so impressive!!!!

A Must-Visit: Hong Kong Disneyland
If you're visiting Hong Kong, Disneyland is a must-visit destination.
I had my very first Disneyland experience at Hong Kong Disneyland, and it was absolutely magical!
Although Hong Kong Disneyland isn't particularly large, it does feature my all-time favorite—Frozen!!
Plus, there weren't many people, so the wait times for attractions were only about 10-20 minutes.
If you're planning a trip to Hong Kong, I highly recommend dedicating a day to Disneyland.

World of Frozen, Kingdom of Arendelle comes to life!
#cherryblossom25
The Kingdom of Arendelle comes to life in World of Frozen area at Hong Kong Disneyland. Here, we are transported to the magical world with all the buildings and its citizens. From the amazing man made lagoon complete with viking-esque boats, the Arendelle fountain and of course Elsa's castle with Hong Kong's mountain as the backdrop, together with the cool weather of Hong Kong, we really enjoyed this place! We even got the chance to meet the queen herself when she was doing her rounds! Certainly an awesome experience!

Yummy treats at Northern Delights, World of Frozen
#cherryblossom25
Perfect for exploring the Arendelle at the World of Frozen, these sugary treats provide fuel for the long walks (and queues!). We ordered an Olaf shaped ice cream called "Summer Snow Day Soft Serve" which is vanilla or milk with chocolate and the donut on the stick, which i think was called smultringer? which is quite sweet for my liking. Anyway, the kids love it!

Relieve iconic scenes from Frozen at Frozen Ever After in Hong Kong Disneyland
#cherryblossom25
The Frozen Ever After ride in World of Frozen, is the most sought after ride at Hong Kong Disneyland. It is a dark ride where we rode a boat ala It's a Small World where iconic scenes from the 3d animated movie Frozen are being shown. The animatronics of the characters is so smooth and you would think that they are real life people! Plus the song snippets made my kids sing along! The queue for this ride is crazy that it sometines exceed an hour so be sure to make it your first priority upon entering Hong Kong DisneyLand!

Not an Elsa Fan… Until I Stepped into Arendelle!
I wasn’t the biggest Frozen fan—until I walked into the World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland! From the moment I entered, it felt like I had stepped straight into the movie. The snowy mountains, the charming village, and the music made it feel so real.
One absolute must-try is the Olaf ice cream cone—super cute and surprisingly delicious!
The most popular ride, Journey to the Ice Palace, was magical. Riding through Elsa’s world with all the iconic songs gave me chills (literally and emotionally). And yes—you can even meet Elsa at The Legends of Frozen! She’s just as regal in person.
While the Frozen area isn’t huge, it’s packed with detail and excitement. For someone who didn’t start as a fan, I left wanting to Let It Go all over again! ❄️

I haven't been to Disney for a few years. I took advantage of the Easter holiday to go to the park for a while.
In the new Frozen, the roller coaster is more gentle and the kids can play.
Instead, the boat ride, personally found a bit exciting.
💰Average consumption per person: Trip.com has a three-person package, cheaper than Disney's official website. $2100 or so, two adults and one child

Inside Stark’s Flight Deck
Strapped into the cabin of the Iron Man Experience, the lights dimmed and suddenly—boom!—you’re soaring above Hong Kong in true Stark Industries style. The HUD flickers, Jarvis chimes in, and Iron Man himself zips by outside your window. Every twist, dive, and blast of wind feels real. It’s not just a ride—it’s an immersive mission. For a few thrilling minutes, you’re part of the Marvel Universe.

[Hong Kong Disneyland] Visit Asia's first Frozen world!
World of Frozen
The world's first "Frozen" themed area opened at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on November 20, 2023! ❄️
The three attractions are as follows↓🏔️
1. Frozen Ever After
2. Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleigh
3. Playhouse in the Woods
In particular, 1 is a water current attraction that you go down in a boat, but it is a completely different attraction from the "Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey" that was later built at Tokyo DisneySea, and even though there are no seat belts, there are falls that are exciting💓 (You can also take photos!📸)
2 is a small roller coaster, and 3 is a participatory show where familiar characters from Frozen appear and you can enjoy it with your children, so I was completely immersed in the world of Frozen✨️

A day trip to Hong Kong Disneyland from Guangzhou by high speed rail
Last time I left from Shenzhen, but this time I had to leave from Guangzhou South Station 🚄
The train departed at 7:13 and arrived at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station at around 8:10.
The fare was 215 RMB one way.
After arriving at the station, I had to go through immigration, and it took about 30 minutes to get out of the ticket gate after getting off the train!
I met up with a couple of friends and took a taxi to Hong Kong Disneyland 🚕
It was morning, so the roads were clear and we arrived in about 15 minutes.
Since I had already purchased my tickets early, I went in at 9am and headed to the Frozen area ❄️
The lines for the attractions were almost constant, so I was able to take my time looking around the interior 😊
Other than that, I tried the Iron Man attraction for the first time
It felt like I was sightseeing in Hong Kong, and it was fun 🇭🇰
Unfortunately, the weather was bad so I couldn't see the parade.
Because of the time constraints of the high-speed rail, I gave up on the projection mapping, so I parted ways with my friend couple in the evening and headed for the city center 🚇
I went shopping spree at Donki and Matsukiyo, then took the steel train back home 🚄
After all, it's easier to go from Shenzhen without having to get there so early in the morning, but it was a good experience 😂

A magical escape into a world of dreams! Hong Kong Disneyland exceeded all expectations — from the enchanting castle to the nighttime parade, everything was picture-perfect. Don’t miss Mystic Manor and the Iron Man Experience — both are must-try rides! Pro tip: arrive early, book attractions via the app, and don’t skip the Mickey-shaped snacks. Hong Kong Disneyland in Spring
The spring weather is very suitable for outings. There are not many people visiting Disney on weekdays during this period, and the waiting time at each game point is about 15 minutes. I like going to the Frozen theme area recently. The amusement rides there are pretty good. I thought it would be just a boat ride and listening to music like in It’s a Small World, but I didn’t expect it to be quite exciting as well!
I think the restaurant here is the best in the whole park. The price may seem a bit expensive, but the price for a main course + drink + snack is reasonable. There are fewer people and the environment is clean.
