I heard that you can see the whole view of Jeonju Hanok Village from Omokdae, so I visited! #SpringTravel The moment I walked around Jeonju Hanok Village wearing a hanbok, it really felt like I was time traveling. There were many backgrounds that went well with hanbok, such as Jeondong Cathedral, Omokdae, and Jaman Mural Village, so it was fun to take pictures. The warm spring breeze and the slightly blooming cherry blossoms made the atmosphere even better, and the smell of Korean food and traditional music on every street made me feel good all day long. I highly recommend this as a spring travel destination where you can feel both tradition and emotion!

Here's a tip: If you go up to the top of Omokdae, you won't be able to see the night view of the Hanok Village properly because of the trees, so instead of going to the top, there's a path that turns right about halfway up the road. Omokdae is where Lee Seong-gye, the military commissioner of the three provinces, held a banquet to celebrate his victory on his way back from suppressing Japanese pirates in Hwangsan in 1380 (6th year of King U’s reign). In 1900 (37th year of King Gojong’s reign), a monument was erected with the inscription ‘Taejo Gohwangje Jupil Yuji’ written by King Gojong himself.

I visited Omokdae Observatory where you can see the whole of Jeonju city at a glance! During the day, I tried on Hanbok and ate delicious food while waiting for the sunset! I went up to Omokdae around 5:30 and found a spot to watch the sunset. Omokdae Observatory was so pretty!
