Finally visited Fuyang's popular outdoor hiking route--Xingmeijian. Drove directly to Longmen Ancient Town last night, and set out early this morning from Yaowu Village to start today's journey at Longmen Stream Rafting. Perhaps due to the heavy rain yesterday, the water flow was particularly strong along the way, and some roads were still wet and muddy. After passing through Xia Longtan and Zhong Longtan, we reached a fork in the road where we turned right to Xingmeijian, and left to Longmen Waterfall. From here, there is a section of steep slopes with loose rocks. Around noon, there weren't many people, and this section was not congested. Reaching the bottom of Longmen Waterfall, it really felt like a 'stream falling down three thousand feet,' and being in the scenery, it was like having a private photo shoot. The return journey followed, which included a section where we had to wade barefoot across the river directly towards Xingmei Bay Reservoir and Xingmeijian. The water was still very cold, so be careful not to slip when crossing the river. After crossing the river, there was one uphill path after another to Xingmei Bay Reservoir. Due to time constraints, we didn't take the circular route and descended halfway to return. Xingmeijian is worth visiting multiple times, and Longmen Ancient Town is stunning. The fermented rice bean curd is delicious.

The road to Huangmei Peak is steep and the stone stage 🚩The steep mud road down the mountain (nearly 70-degree slope) is very slippery. Hold on to the trees on the side of the road to go down. It is recommended to return the original way on rainy days to avoid slipping 🚩After the highway, climb over the guardrail and walk along the ribbon. It is a tropical rainforest route.
