It is an imposing building that is beautifully lit up at night to get an idea of the depth and size of the building. It’s purpose is mainly to house performances of traditional Chinese opera and theatre. Before going to the Xiqu Centre to watch a drama, a friend suggested that we come to this restaurant near Austin MRT Station to eat clay pot rice. The restaurant is two stories high and has spacious seats. It changed my previous concept of the environment for eating clay pot rice.
