[2025 Yeongwol-gun Attraction] Travel Guide for Yeongwol Korean Peninsula Cliffs (Updated Jul)

I visited Yeongwol, a Korean Peninsula terrain that I had only seen in textbooks. The mountains I climbed on the way to see it were not high, so it was nice for a walk. The pine forest that was a place of exile was also quiet and pretty. I recommend it for domestic travel!

The meaning of Korean Peninsula Topography is that it resembles the Korean Peninsula when viewed from above! It takes 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the observatory, and the road is well-maintained, so you can think of it as a light walk!! After seeing the wide open view, go down and go to Raft Village where you can observe various parts of the Korean Peninsula Topography by riding a raft! The raft operation section is about 1km! It would be great to go when the Rose of Sharon is in full bloom. Stop by while you're in Gangwon-do. Even though I was panting because it was hard, I climbed up to the observatory, and this scenery was so beautiful that I wanted to show it to my baby if I ever came to Yeongwol again. When I saw the Korean Peninsula terrain filled with the green leaves of summer, I was so proud to see my baby exclaiming "Wow" just like I did when I was little. I went to "Korean Peninsula Topography⛰️", one of the 10 scenic spots in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do.✨ It's a place where the natural flow of the river accidentally created the same shape as the topography of the whole of Korea! It's so mysterious! #Must-see historic site I recommend Yeongwol Peninsula Terrain in Gangwon-do. It is a historic site with history such as Danjong’s exile site and the Peninsula Raft Village. If you travel to Gangwon-do, it is a travel destination worth visiting! 🅿️ Parking available, navigation “Korean Peninsula Terrain Parking Lot” 🌳 It takes about 10-20 minutes from the parking lot to the observatory (the walking deck is well-made)
