Located in Taichung's Beitun District, the Orange Hotel offered a two-person room for less than 1500 TWD during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday—a truly budget-friendly option! I originally needed to stay overnight in Beitun District for some errands and booked this hotel. Judging by the photos online, it seemed a bit outdated, so I went with low expectations. To my surprise, it turned out to be a hidden gem! Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a refreshingly cool air conditioning system and a comfortable large bed 🛏️. One of the best parts of staying in a hotel is lounging on the bed and watching TV 📺, so having a spacious bed was a big plus! The bathroom was also well-designed with separate wet and dry areas, and the bathtub 🛁 was decently sized. The room also featured a large desk, slippers, and bottled water. Considering the government's environmental policies, I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel still provided these amenities. Another bonus was the availability of a water dispenser in the lobby for guests to refill their bottles, along with free coffee ☕️. Although the accommodation at Lin Guiyuan Stone Club was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast food was very bad. The venue of the Ritz Landscape Hot Spring Resort we found this year is not as big as last year, but the room area is indeed larger than last year. The food and beverages, whether breakfast or dinner, are very good, especially the dinner, which everyone praised. There are two tables of ten dishes in total, and there are still two or three dishes that we can't finish in the end because there is free braised pork next to the rice pot.
