I can spend a month or more to complete the exploration around here, regardless of time, money and other factors. Only then can I truly have freedom. Now, right? Right in front of the bell tower is the gate of Qingxu Mountain, which should have been the place to check in when I started climbing, but it turned out to be where I checked out when I came down the mountain🙇 . The inside of the mountain gate was captured by me from both sides, but I still think the outside looks a bit better. Of course, this is only relative to these two photos. If we consider the distant check-in at the mountain gate, then the order would be different😁 . From afar, I bid farewell to the beautiful scenery where the Qingxu Mountain gate meets the peaks, and then turned to face the vendors in front of the gate. I was here when I went up the mountain, and I'm still here now. They must be villagers from nearby the mountain🧐 . This is also where many tourists park their cars. I envy them for having cars and being able to drive wherever they want, not having to walk like me. From here, it's over seven kilometers back to the bus stop, which is a headache just to think about😓 . I was in too much of a hurry when I arrived at the Qingxu Mountain stele and didn't check in properly, so now that I have come down the mountain, I'm checking in here again. It's still as muddy as it was in the morning when I came, but alright, as long as I can capture the beautiful scenery, I won't mind the rest😁 . After checking in at the Qingxu Mountain stele, I started to walk out because it's more than seven kilometers to the bus stop, and I don't have a car like others, so I can only continue to walk out. Although the journey is a bit far, I'm used to it. It's common for me to walk a few kilometers where there is no bus service when I go hiking🤷‍♂️ . First, I need to find a place to sit and rest so I can regain my strength to walk further later on . After I got up, I couldn't help but start exploring nearby again. I ran across the road and saw a small trail. Sigh, if time allowed, I would really like to explore the wild trails in the mountains and never want to come out🙇 . Later, as cars came and went, I retreated back and found a pile of rocks where I could not only rest and check in the great mountains and rivers but also didn't have to worry about the passing cars. The spot I chose was very open and far from the road, allowing me to fully enjoy nature without disturbance..

Stepping into the Tangyao Ancient Town in Baoding, it feels like being surrounded by a rich historical atmosphere. This ancient town is located in the northeast of Tang County, Baoding City, backed by Qingdu Mountain, and adjacent to Yaomu Lake, filled with profound historical and cultural heritage. In the early morning, I strolled on the bluestone slabs of the ancient town, feeling the sediment of history. The architectural style of the ancient town is simple and elegant, with gray bricks and green tiles, exuding an ancient charm. Along the streets, shops stand in great numbers, selling various traditional handicrafts and specialty snacks. I stopped in front of an old teahouse, savoring a cup of fragrant tea, listening to the owner recounting the history and legends of the ancient town, as if traveling to the distant past. In the afternoon, I set off along the mountain road towards Qingdu Mountain. The mountain road is winding, with lush trees on both sides, and the air is filled with the fragrance of birds and flowers. Along the way, I admired the beautiful natural scenery and felt the magical charm of nature. Climbing to the top of the mountain, I overlooked the entire ancient town and Yaomu Lake, a breathtaking view that was refreshing and uplifting. In the temple at the top of the mountain, I visited the Lingyuan Temple, which enshrines the mother of Emperor Yao. Although the temple is not large, it is bustling with worshippers and incense. I prayed sincerely, hoping for my family's safety and health, and success in my own career. After descending the mountain, I wandered through the streets and alleys of the ancient town, feeling its tranquility and harmony. The residents of the ancient town are warm and hospitable, inheriting the Tangyao culture in their own way, allowing visitors to deeply understand the local history and culture while enjoying their visit. In the evening, I came to the night market of the ancient town. The night market was brilliantly lit and bustling with people. I tasted various delicacies and enjoyed traditional folk art performances, feeling the liveliness and prosperity of the place. During my days in Tangyao Ancient Town of Baoding, I deeply felt the historical heritage and cultural charm of this place. This ancient town is not only a tourist attraction but also a place where one's soul can be purified and elevated. I believe that in the days to come, I will visit here again, to experience its beauty and warmth.

I visited Baoding's Tangxian Xianheyu in winter. A secluded natural canyon, Xianheyu Canyon is beautiful with cool air, featuring waterfalls and cliffs. You can hike deep into the canyon, making it suitable for self-driving tours around Baoding. It was still under construction when I went, so it was free. Worth a visit.
