#folkactivities During my recent trip to Sweden, I had the chance to visit a traditional fair, and it was such a unique and delightful experience! 🇸🇪🎡 The fair was held in a charming small town near Uppsala, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The atmosphere was vibrant, with locals dressed in traditional Swedish clothing, stalls full of handmade crafts, and the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. There was no entrance fee, making it easy to wander in and out, enjoying the festivities at your own pace. One of the highlights for me was watching the folk dances. The dancers, in their colorful costumes, moved so gracefully, and the music played by the live folk band added a magical touch to the whole scene. 🎻 I also tried some classic Swedish foods like herring, freshly baked cinnamon buns, and, of course, a taste of their famous lingonberry jam. During my recent visit to Stockholm, I had the pleasure of exploring what’s often called the world’s longest art gallery – the Stockholm Metro. With over 90 of the 100 stations adorned with art installations, murals, sculptures, and imaginative lighting, the metro is more than just a means of transport – it’s a cultural experience in itself. Each station offered its own unique atmosphere and artistic flair, turning my metro ride into a museum crawl beneath the city. T-Centralen As the main hub of the metro system, T-Centralen was a fitting place to begin. The station’s cool blue-and-white floral motifs painted on exposed bedrock created a calm, almost meditative ambiance despite the constant flow of commuters. Stadion This station is a burst of color and positivity. Stadion is famous for its iconic rainbow arch, painted across the curved ceiling – a tribute to love, diversity, and inclusion. The vibrant colors against the natural rock made the whole platform feel open and joyful, and it’s easy to see why this station is a favorite for photos. Tekniska Högskolan This station is a tribute to science and technology, perfectly fitting for its location near the Royal Institute of Technology. Futuristic geometric installations and planet-inspired sculptures give it an intellectual, avant-garde edge. Solna Centrum One of the most dramatic and politically charged stations I visited. The blood-red ceiling contrasted with the green forest mural below, symbolizing deforestation and urbanization. Hallonbergen This station offered a completely different vibe – whimsical and childlike. The walls are covered with what looks like children’s drawings, and they actually are – created with the help of local children in collaboration with the artists. Näckrosen A lesser-known gem, Näckrosen surprised me with its quiet, eerie, dreamlike atmosphere. There’s a strong sense of depth and reflection here, with subdued lighting and abstract pieces that make the underground space feel almost otherworldly. During my visit, I spent the day picking wild blueberries and fishing in the serene lakes, and it was pure magic. 🍃 The forest was filled with endless rows of wild blueberries, waiting to be plucked. There’s something so satisfying about picking your own fruit, and the sweet, tangy taste of these wild berries is beyond compare. After a peaceful morning picking blueberries, we made a delicious homemade blueberry jam, and the flavors were unbeatable. 🫐✨ Later, we cast our fishing lines into the calm lake. Surrounded by tall trees and the sounds of nature, fishing was a moment of peace and reflection. The whole day felt like a perfect balance of nature and adventure. Sweden’s forests are beautiful, peaceful, and full of opportunities for outdoor activities like berry picking and fishing. If you’ve never experienced it, I highly recommend it. You’ll not only get to enjoy fresh, wild blueberries but also connect with nature in a way that leaves you feeling refreshed and grounded. 🌲

I can wear a sweater with a long skirt at noon. It’s really a blessing. It takes at least two days to travel in Seville comfortably and easily. Recommended attractions include: 1 Plaza de España (Pictures 1-4): In recent winters, the sun sets around 18:00. It is recommended to go here from 16:00 to 17:00 for the best photos. The sun is not too glaring and makes the buildings look golden. Anyone with good hands can take good photos. 2 Royal Palace of Seville (Pictures 5-7): I bought the ticket on the official website half a month in advance. The filming location of Game of Thrones is in a small room leading to the maze in the back courtyard. It feels like if you go to the Alcazar in Granada, you can choose to go here or not. 3 Seville Cathedral (Figure 5-8): Same-day online ticket purchase is not supported. We forgot to buy tickets in advance, so we bought a combined ticket at another small church near the cathedral: Iglesia Colegial del Divino Salvador, so we didn't have to queue up at the cathedral to buy tickets.
