Baizhangyan is located at the southern end of the Baihe Mountain Range in Penghu Town, Yongchun County, Fujian Province. The mountain is called Made Mountain, and the temple on the top is commonly known as Ma's or Ma Temple. Because it has a single peak and a colorful boulder in front of the temple, which looks like a candle pointing to the sky, it is also called Baizhang Rock. It is said to be the place where the fairy Ma practiced Taoism and passed away. The temple was first built in the Song Dynasty and is dedicated to a woman named Ma, commonly known as the Fairy Ma. Baizhangyan Scenic Area is named after its steep mountains and cliffs that are hundreds of feet high. Baizhangyan, also known as Ma's Temple, is 10 kilometers away from Penghu Town. Ma's Temple is located on the top of Guanshan Mountain at an altitude of 892 meters, and the mountain is steep. The temple, supported by the rushing mountains, blends into the blue sky and white clouds, which is breathtaking. Looking down from here, the mountains stretch out endlessly downwards, giving you a sense of being in heaven. Taoyuan Temple is located beside the Huancheng Road in Yongchun county town. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, immigrants from the Central Plains built the Zhenwu Palace in Yongchun, which was renamed Taoyuan Temple during the Five Dynasties period, and in the first year of the Jiajing era of the Ming dynasty, it became the Xuan Emperor's palace. Kuixingyan Scenic Area is located in Shigu Town, Yongchun County, Fujian Province. It is named after the meaning of "Wenqu Huashi" and "Guangchang Wenyun". Kuixingyan is like a jade seal inlaid in the foothills of Kuifeng Mountain in the southwest of the county. It is rich in connotation and hidden in lush woods. It has beautiful scenery and charming views. It is one of the two major ancient sites dedicated to Kuixing in the country confirmed by the National Tourism Administration. This mountain is secluded and quiet, with a unique cave world, and it often attracts poets and writers to sing and respond. The temple was first built in the 9th year of Kaihuang in the Sui Dynasty and rebuilt by the famous monk Yuanjue in the 4th year of Gandao in the Southern Song Dynasty. After many vicissitudes, there are still the double-eaved hanging mountain-style Main Hall, Kuixing Hall, three cliff statues carved in the Five Dynasties, and calligraphy and seal carvings left by literati and poets of all dynasties. The cave is hidden among green pines, cypresses and various junipers. In autumn and winter, yellow leaves fall, but there are never any fallen leaves on the roof, which visitors marvel at. There are three Buddha statues of Sakyamuni, Manjusri and Samantabhadra carved on the cliff behind the rock, and a flame halo behind the statues. Kuixing Rock has a long history and rich culture. In addition to the stone Buddha statues, there are also inscriptions such as "Yingyun", "Foji", "Yintai", "Kongtong Yuanshi" and "Wenqu Huashi". Among them, the 60-centimeter square "Kui" is the most handsome. It was written by Ma Fushu, the military champion of the early Qing Dynasty and the governor of Fujian Land. Looking closely, the three characters "Kuixing Rock" engraved by Wang Baoshan, the magistrate of the early Qing Dynasty, are still vaguely discernible despite the erosion of wind and rain. In addition, on the left side of the mountain gate of Kuixingyan, there is a vertical stele with the words "Wenchangtai" written by Yan Tingju. The font is ancient and simple, and the brushstrokes are vigorous. There are many mysterious and beautiful stories circulating in Kuixingyan. Among them, the Legend of Kuixing Gong tells the story of a down-and-out scholar who was not appreciated for his talent due to his ugly appearance; the Mi Cave in Jiangnan warns people to be law-abiding and contented with what they have; the Immortal's Footprints leaves behind a beautiful story of Kuixing Gong's ascension to heaven... Behind the main hall of Kuixing Rock is a temple to local celebrities, which was built in memory of Yan Tingju, the left historian during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. According to legend, Yan studied hard here when he was young and was extremely intelligent. The couplet on the pillar in front of the ancestral hall was written by him and his teacher when he was five years old. He also left behind stories such as "selling calligraphy for oysters". After completing his studies, Yan served as an upright official. He was good at poetry and calligraphy and was deeply respected by his fellow villagers. Kuixing Rock has become a place where people respect knowledge and promote literature. The cliff carvings are a major wonder of Kuixing Rock, carved along the direction of natural boulders. The "three saints" are wearing robes, with faces like full moons, ears like hanging bows, plump and smooth skin, just like the Tang style. Unfortunately, Sakyamuni's right arm and Samantabhadra's left wrist were both destroyed by humans, and only traces of the hands remained. According to legend, there were more than 30 Arhats carved around the rock, all with vivid eyes and lifelike shapes, but they were destroyed in the disaster. Today, Kuixing Rock is filled with the scent of incense and poetry, has beautiful scenery and is crowded with tourists. It has become the best place for people to relax, explore ancient sites and have cultural exchanges. There is a couplet that says: Strolling leisurely, the old and new views are worthy of being painted; climbing up and looking into the distance, the green waters and green mountains are always touching.

Houlong Academy is located at the foot of Shuangbinlou Mountain in Houlong Village, Wufeng Town, Yongchun County, Quanzhou, with a gold-letter-shaped facade, facing south with its back to the north. It is the only ancient academy in Yongchun County that is still well-preserved. Houlong Academy consists of two study halls: Zhuyuanzhai and Guixuan. According to the 'Yingchuan Houlong Chen Family Genealogy', as early as the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the thirteenth ancestor of the Houlong Chen family, Su Hou (a tribute student), built 'Zhuyuanzhai' at about the age of twenty, which is the predecessor of Houlong Academy, with a history of 300 years to date. Later, during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796—1820), the sixteenth ancestor of the Houlong Chen family, Chen Xiaowu, continued to build Guixuan study hall and planted osmanthus and jade pen flower trees.
