The Old Door Bar is located on New Dover Road in Canterbury. It is a relatively large bar that is open until late every night. In fact, in addition to being a bar, it is also a Western barbecue restaurant, which is very lively even during the day. The barbecue here is highly recommended, with fresh ingredients, a wide variety, reasonable prices, and thoughtful service. It is very pleasant to eat barbecue and drink beer here.

We try to visit the Foundry every time that we visit friends in Canterbury (about twice a year). Every visit the food, beer, & service has been excellent. Highly recommended!

#創創動計劃分萬萬现金 My dears, I left London this weekend and had a great day trip to Canterbury and Margate. Now I want to share it with you! 🌸 Canterbury Canterbury is so good to take photos! The flowers here are absolutely amazing, like a dream garden. I passed by and checked in at the back garden of Canterbury, the scenery is picturesque. And the people here are of high quality. No one stepped into the lawn to take pictures, which made me embarrassed to stand on the concrete floor at the entrance to take pictures. Speaking of food, I went to Chapman's, a popular seafood restaurant, but to be honest, I felt that the taste was a bit average. 🏖️ Margate This is my second time in Margate. It is really my favorite beach around London, no one else! I have been to almost all the beaches around London. After comprehensive comparison, Botany Bay Beach in Margate is simply too good👏! This beach is super big, you can also barbecue, and the most important thing is that there is no parking fee🅿, which is really conscientious! The most important thing is that it is fine sand, which is soft and super comfortable to step on bare feet😌. When the weather is good, lying down here to bask in the sun is simply a great enjoyment in life🌞. However, there are many seagulls on the beach, and they are particularly good at grabbing food😅. I didn’t eat any of the rice balls I brought, and I fed them all to the big brother seagull. When you go into the water to play, you must be careful of seagulls rummaging through things, otherwise the food will be "not guaranteed"🤣. My dears, is this kind of one-day tour around London very exciting💖?

📖 Itinerary route: From London Bridge, today there are many delays due to the train block, but the basic route is to take southeast line to Ashford international. After arriving at the station, remember to leave the station and take the bus to Cantebury west, the bus will take about half an hour. The time on the road is about 2.5 hours, so be sure to bring a relaxed and slow mentality. ✅ Must-Visit Attractions: I chose to waste half a day here because the first lesson of English literature in this science is Chaucer's Cantebury Tales, as if I took myself back to the university classroom nearly 20 years ago. It is a fairytale medieval town, even without any background, but also a little relaxing. You can order a cup in a cafe shop at will, you can stop some interesting souvenir shops, if you can take some back, you can directly find a long stool, in a slightly cool but artistic environment will gradually slow down the irritable heart. 🍜 Must eat food: recommend a small shop called tiny tims tearoom, click on a british afternoontea, listen to the piano play and spend a little time. You don't have to let your mobile phone eat first, it's good enough to taste it yourself. For the Chinese, there is a supermarket near the station at the entrance of the castle, which has a lot of Asian food (there are many types of instant noodles! Absolutely satisfy you!) 🏠 Accommodation recommendation: Because it is downtown London, there is no accommodation, but see Hilton by Hampton, the basic quality should be guaranteed. ✏️ Practical Tips: Buy tickets with trainpal at an affordable price, plenty of time and like to go shopping freely, don't hold a group! Come convenient and save rice! #European Town Exploration #Canterbury, UK

📍 First stop: Canterbury Cathedral The oldest Christian holy place in the UK, the Gothic architecture is stunning! Stained glass windows, the site of St. Thomas's martyrdom, every shot is a blockbuster📸. Tickets are £15.5, it is recommended to go in the morning when there are fewer people~ 🚶♂️ Second stop: Westgate Gardens & City Wall Trail Walk along the medieval city walls and overlook the beautiful scenery of the Stour River. The cherry blossom season in Westgate Gardens is super romantic, and you can also take a boat tour on the river, which is super British! 🏰 Third stop: Canterbury Tales Center Immerse yourself in Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales", the interactive exhibition is super interesting, suitable for children or literature lovers! 🍽️ Lunch recommendation: The Goods Shed Local farmers market + Michelin recommended restaurant, the ingredients are super fresh! Must try cod cheeks and handmade bread, about £30 per person. 🛍️ Stop 4: King's Mile & Old Weaver's House Cobblestone streets + retro shops, handicrafts, afternoon tea, super fun! Don't forget to check in at the "Leaning House"🏠. 🚆 Transportation Tips: 1 hour train from London, buy early bird tickets for a better deal! 💡 Best season: Spring and summer (April-September), sunshine + greenery beyond the movie! #Canterbury #BritishTravel #MedievalTown #DayTourGuide ✨ Follow me to unlock more niche ways to play in Europe! ✨

UK | Real beauty without filters I drove from London to Canterbury and the White Cliffs of Dover. It didn’t take long. It took 2 hours to drive from the most central block to London’s back garden, which is the oil painting town in Figures 1-6. Because there was a strong wind warning that day, the boats on the lake were also suspended. Otherwise, you can enjoy more beautiful scenery along the river! Navigate to Westgate Garden | Westgate Garden Dover White Cliffs Because I arrived late, and the arrogant strong wind blew me down, I only walked a short distance. It only takes half an hour to drive from Canterbury! The bus also takes about the same time. Friends, don’t miss this beautiful oil painting town when you go to the UK from May to August! Finally, I share a Turkish restaurant next to Westgate Garden. It’s super delicious. The last two pictures #UK Travel #UK Oil Painting Town #UK Canterbury #London Back Garden
