Penang Hai Boey Seafood

If you are not a native Penangite, I believe few tourists would be familiar with the way here. It is quite far from the city, close to the sea, and surrounded by Malay natives. I was brought here by a local friend, so I knew there was such a delicious seafood restaurant. There were people constantly coming in and out, and the food tasted great.

You must eat seafood when you go to the tropics. Although it is not an island and the price is not too cheap, you still have to have a good meal. This restaurant is on the edge of Penang, close to the beach, and has an open-air dining environment. The variety of seafood is quite complete, and the mantis shrimps are active, but the cooking method of the typhoon shelter is not particularly authentic. The salted egg yolk crab is very good and very plump. Special reminder, the cashews on the table are not free [snickering]

The local driver recommended the seafood here, saying that the driver also likes to eat here at night. The seafood is indeed not expensive, and it is obviously local style. It is relatively far from the city center.

The only downside here is that it is far from Georgetown. I listened to the previous recommendation and ordered special foods such as mantis fish, grilled shrimp plate, squid curry, coconut sauce dim sum, etc. By the way, you must come at sunset, the scenery here is really beautiful.

The quality of food in Hai Wei Seafood is really good and it has maintained this high quality over the years. We ordered stuffed bitter melon, fried eggplant balls, black chicken and pork belly soup, and ice sweet and sour pork, the taste was unforgettable. I think eating here can be added to the list of things to do in Penang.
