The paella here is a traditional local cuisine and the Spanish paella is different from the porridge cooked in an iron pot.

If you like meat you will love it here. I particularly enjoyed the sliced pichana and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the sirloin.

Great service and menu is very authentic to the restaurant (beef) with some lovely fish and vegetarian dishes. We had the oxtail which was amazing and our son had the Wagyu steak - really lovely texture and taste. First class all round and worth a visit .

The staff are so helpful and friendly. Very odd that tips can&rsquo;t be added to the bill - these days fewer people carry cash , so the level of staff gratuities naturally suffers ! Food and wines were delicious. Service was top class. My only concern is the chairs - they are seriously uncomfortable- please 🙏🙏change them . &hellip;

From the moment we stepped into Casal da Penha, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ensured our experience was seamless from start to finish. As for the food&mdash;absolutely outstanding. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully combined. A wonderful experience to finish off our holiday!

This is a restaurant specializing in crab meat. It is a bit different from China. The practice here is mainly used for cheese. It tastes great and will be very satisfying.

Lovely ambiance! Great in the evening, but go during the day to see the beautiful view. Vegetarian/vegan friendly menu available. Delicious food!

Wow! I was worried looking at some google reviews, how wrong I was. Let me start by saying I am married to a Japanese, that we are true International foodies and often travelling to Japan obviously for the past 20yrs as a couple . We had the Kaiseki menu (degustation, 5-6 dishes for 88&euro;) not only the food quality and tastes were amazing (as well as quantity), service was spotless, and the quality/price ratio is also quite good compared to another &ldquo;premium&rdquo; Asian (hotel) restaurant not very far that we tried the day before and left a little disappointed. The wine selection was also quite good and reasonably priced for a very nice Duro white wine. We agreed this meal was one of our top 10 Japanese restaurants experience ever, so we cannot recommend it enough. This is definitely a top Madeiran restaurant on the 16th floor of the Savoy Palace hotel so dressing accordingly is recommended to fully enjoy this very nice culinary experience.

Delicious dishes prepared by someone who obviously cares about the presentation of the food. It tastes as good as it looks! Super selection of wines all at affordable prices.

Food and service was excellent. We have been to this restaurant previously and our second visit was as good as the first. Good value for money. Certainly recommended
