Eagle Bar is a holy place for biology students like me. Sixty years ago, Watson and Clark published the double helix structure of DNA here. I never thought that the British, who claim to be rigorous and serious, would put such an academic thing in a bar.

On the corner of the street of King's College. What really made him famous was the birth of the Nobel Prize: on February 28, 1953, as usual, scientists from the Cavendish Laboratory came here for lunch, but Crick and Watson announced that they had "discovered the secret of life", that is, the double helix structure of DNA. In 1962, they won the prize for this. In 2003, the bar added a blue plaque on the wall at the entrance, recording this historical event. Watson attended the unveiling ceremony, and Crick died the following year. Today, the bar has prepared a strong specialty beer named "Eagle's DNA" to attract customers. Speaking of the food itself, the most famous one is the fish and chips, which are very generous, and the set meal also comes with boiled peas, bread and butter, and cola. Personally, I feel that the fried fish has no bones and should be a kind of sole or flounder? But it is very oily, and the fries are very delicious.

The Eagle Bar is still very famous in Cambridge. The environment of this bar is great and it attracts a large number of people every day. There are all kinds of alcohol in the bar, the price is a little expensive, but it is very good.
