Terrific. More than I bargained for. Fickys English is adequate but where he really shines is logistics and being able to coordinate authentic experiences/ interactions. The day included green onion picking/ tea plantation walk/ hot springs/ mud / basket ride/ suspension bridge/ go cart/ local dinner AND a street vendor dessert stop. We finally rolled home close to 9pm. The local meal was truly terrific experience. Never in the day did I feel like we were following hordes of tourists. Recommend to bring sanitizing wipes as all the bathrooms don’t have sinks or soap.

Its a very relaxing trip. Regina speaks good English and doubled as a guide cum driver. Kawah Putih the white crater is a the sapphire of the crown, the epitome of the whole day trip. The beautiful tea garden landscape id so mesmerizing.

Super interesting local market; very cheap and delicious durian stalls; retro wooden cart vendors in the old town, like crossing from colonial movies. The black-robed girls on the street are framed with the CBD glass curtain wall, and the Islamic prayer is mixed with the roar of motorcycles, and the magic is full!


