The detailed email really arrived the day before as I was told. Information from the airport to the dock was very smooth, and I didn't need a tip in particular. However, I was a little worried because the bus was not enough or the transfer to the hotel was waiting for about an hour. The return transfer was on time, and it was good to be smooth as well as going from there. When boarding a boat, it may be difficult to have a large suitcase because it passes through a narrow bridge, some staff will help you carry it, but you need a tip. This is probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and it’s solely due myself and my friend’s tour guide, Jessie. I don’t know who trained that man on customer service but every praise to him and by extension, his company. Give him a raise people. He went above and beyond to cater to whims we didn’t even know we had. He carried our bags, helped us in and out the boats and cars, helped us to wash off excess mud off our feet, and even our sandals. He helped us to purchase food, to take pictures, anything you can think of, he did it. And it might sound super simple based on my description but believe me, it adds up and it was especially special because none of these things were what we asked for. He did them all on his own. There was nothing fake or “work like” about his attitude. It just felt like he was a friend accompanying us and believe me he stayed with us the entire time through every step. He made the experience amazing. Oh and the activities were great too. Lol.
