We did Mt Cook and Hooker Valley trip in September and had an awesome day! There was some snow still about which made for stunning views along the way and when we arrived at Mt Cook. The walk was amazing and we were given the choice to do the full 10 km walk or do part of the walk and spend time at the alpine centre. My wife did the walk and it was well worth it as the scene was incredible at the end, seeing icebergs and glacier formations. Our guide Dayton was excellent, very knowledgable and kept us entertained during the trip. This was an amazing day with plenty of stops along the way and one of the best trips to do in new zealand.★

A very memorable trip!
The guide Rich was very responsible and could feel his deep love for the glacier in his commentary!
The whole process:
15 minutes in advance to the meeting point
Weighing the bracelet
The tour guide called the whole group to the preparation room to introduce the precautions
Change shoes, add clothes (hats, glasses, gloves are not provided)
All personal items and scattered items such as hat glasses need to be placed together in the provided backpack
