Renfe's Tarjeta Dorada offers up to 40% discounts for those aged over 60. The card costs €6 for one year, €12 for two years, and €15 for three years. All services provided with discounted tickets are the same as those with full-price tickets, and the same rules apply for changes and refunds.

Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare
In Spain, Renfe provides significant fare discounts for large families: 20% for general category families and 50% for special category families. These discounts are applicable on AVE and Larga Distancia trains but do not extend to AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías routes. Single-parent families in Catalonia may also receive discounts on Rodalies services with the appropriate Generalitat certification.
