Sep ٧ to Sep ١٢Industrial action to affect London Underground and Docklands Light Railway between Sunday 7 and Friday 12 September.Period:Sunday, September ٧, ٢٠٢٥ to Friday, September ١٢, ٢٠٢٥Operators:London Underground,Docklands Light RailwayRelated Information:The RMT union have announced industrial action which will affect London Underground services from Sunday 7 September until Friday 12 September. In a separate dispute, the Docklands Light Railway will also be impacted on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 September. Although this will mainly affect London Underground and DLR services, there will be some National Rail services also impacted as some routes run over London Underground tracks and call at London Underground stations. On Sunday 7 September, London Underground will be disrupted, with limited services running. From Monday 8 to Thursday 11 September, London Underground services will be severely disrupted, with little to no service expected. On Friday 12 September, there will be no London Underground service before 08:00, with normal service expected on all lines by late morning. On Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 September, there will be no service on the Docklands Light Railway.

Sep ١ to Sep ٩Unstable ground conditions close Bransty Tunnel between Corkickle and WhitehavenPeriod:Monday, September ١, ٢٠٢٥ to Tuesday, September ٩, ٢٠٢٥Operators:NorthernRelated Information:During pre-planned engineering work at Bransty Tunnel, between Corkickle and Whitehaven, inspections revealed unstable ground conditions which require urgent repair. As a result, the line through the tunnel is closed. Buses are replacing trains between Corkickle and Whitehaven. Disruption is expected until further notice. A visual disruption map video is available. Customer advice: Service impact: Train services are running between Lancaster / Barrow-in-Furness and Corkickle, and also between Whitehaven and Carlisle. Buses will replace trains between Corkickle and Whitehaven. Ticket acceptance: You can use your ticket on Avanti West Coast and TransPennine Express services between Lancaster and Carlisle at no extra cost. Northern ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption so that you may travel via any reasonable route. Additionally, if the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any Northern or TransPennine Express service within two hours before or after your cancelled service was due to depart. This is at no extra cost, and does not require you to amend your ticket.
