Great traditional food. Service was good too.

We were looking for a place to have lunch during a trip. We looked at some new ones and others we already knew. We had always excluded this restaurant thinking it was out of our reach. An exclusive location; the place is nestled in Porta Pretoria. The interior is warm and welcoming, all in wood and stone. At first glance you might think that it is one of those places where you pay a lot and eat little. Nothing could be more wrong! Very good food, cooked with care and with top quality ingredients. We all ordered different courses and were served quickly, without being able to find any fault in the quality of the dishes. The selection of cheeses for dessert was also excellent. Generous portions! Nice wine list but also excellent products served by the glass. Attentive and thoughtful service and pleasant and friendly staff. Honest prices and in line with the market, especially if you consider the quantity and quality of the courses. We will be back!

We had a great time, the possibility of booking online was excellent (which is not always a given option). The food was excellent, as was the welcome and the service.
