I traveled in Saudi Arabia some time ago. Because I had to cross the border to Bahrain by land, I chose to start from Dammam. Because it is close to the Gulf, Dammam's climate is more humid than Riyadh's drought, and the natural scenery has changed from continuous desert to beautiful seaside. 👉 From Riyadh to Dammam, you can choose to drive or take a train. We took the train to Dammam. The bus to Dammam is at Riyadh Dammam Railway Station SAR. Riyadh has a total of 2 train stations. Don't go to the wrong place! 👉 Dammam and Bahrain are separated by only a cross-sea bridge, and the climate is more similar. Usually November to February is the most suitable season for travel, which will be relatively cool. ▫️ 1️⃣Ithra Library: A gift from Aramco to the King of Saudi Arabia. It looks like an alien building in the sand dunes and has a very cool appearance. The building itself is a library. It is very large and easy to visit and take pictures. There are restaurants, cafes, and cinemas. If you come to visit, don't forget to take away a refrigerator magnet inspired by Ithra. I feel that this is not available anywhere else. It is quite special. 2️⃣Corniche Seaside Park: The sea on the Dammam side is very blue, and the Persian Gulf is really well-deserved. In addition, because it is close to the equator, the sun looks particularly big. Watching the sunset at the seaside will feel romantic and shocking. 3️⃣Heritage Village Folk Village: I originally thought that this folk village was a bit worthless (because it charges admission, and it is not cheap), but if you want to dine in it, it feels pretty good. It reminds me of a restaurant in Muscat, Oman, which is also very local in style and full of exotic customs. The 1st to 3rd floors of the entire folk village are restaurants, and the 4th floor is a museum. If you want to see the sea view, you can also sit in its rooftop cafe. ▫️ 🍽️Restaurants: 1️⃣Shajarat Al-durr: This barbecue restaurant serves Egyptian cuisine. I found that when I traveled to the Middle East, my favorite restaurants were almost all Egyptian cuisine. Its roast chicken and roast beef are very delicious, especially the roast chicken, which can be said to be tender and juicy. 50-70SAR per person, and you can also see the sea view, which is actually quite cost-effective. 2️⃣Masmakat Al Fareej: This location is a little far from the Dammam seaside, but the environment is very good, and the seafood platter tastes very good.
