La Pasta

Food has always been good at La Pasta and today was no exception. Pizzas lovely, thin and crusty, and pasta excellent. Jug of sangria goes down a treat on a hot day.

Despite being 2 hours late for our booking (my fault, I got the time wrong) the staff had a table for us without any fuss. The waitress was very understanding, took our order and before long our delicious Bruschetta starter arrived. My wife had cannelloni and I had a delicious pepperoni pizza, fabulous food, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff.

Surprisingly it has some excellent vegetarian options. The service and pricing was very good too. The live music was a bit too loud, so we moved indoors.

A definite hidden gem . Found it through Trip Advisor. Not a restaurant you will just happen upon. A very quiet street with hardly any traffic. Nice outdoor seating. We had a red Sangria it was excellent. I had Toscan chicken with Tri-color pasta. Meat cooked properly and cream sauce enhanced the dish. My wife seafood risotto. Very good. Both portions quite large. I noticed most people did not finish their dishes due to amount of food. The server was awesome and loved talking about the restaurant and owners. This is a very good sign. She suggested tiramisu but we do not care for it. Second was passion fruit cheeses cake. Great choice. She said she has had cheesecake from England but she thinks theirs is better and she explained why. She was spot on we are from USA. It was lighter and whipped better. The crust was much better. Could not give it a 5.0 because no view but everything else us a 5*. And all for less than 50 Euros. In SFO a $100 meal

The staff were very welcoming and the menu was extensive, I had a 1st class pizza and my wife had cabanarra which was excellent, we definitely will be back.
