Nuriya

Nuriya Izumicho is located at 3-1-31 Izumicho, Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture 310-0026. It is about a 30-minute walk from Mito Station. It is a famous long-established eel restaurant in Ibaraki Prefecture. The interior of the restaurant is very clean and beautiful. There are also many staff members. They are also very attentive to customers.

Although the yakiniku rice is a little expensive, it is really good. The eels they choose are all the thick middle parts with thin skin, tender meat inside, and the sauce tastes delicious.

We called to make a reservation in advance, and they did reserve a seat when we went there. The eel rice is really delicious, and the price is much cheaper than what I had in Tokyo! Their eel rice is divided into ordinary and premium. I think the ordinary one is delicious.

This eel rice restaurant has good reviews online and is also very famous in Mito. The place where the main restaurant is located seems to be called Izumi-cho, where there is a food street with high-end restaurants. There are several kabayaki eel rice restaurants nearby. There is also a branch on the main road. The eel is killed and grilled on the spot, although you have to wait for a while, but it is worth it. There are few eel rice that is so delicious in China.

The signature eel rice is not cheap, a set meal costs about 250, but it is really delicious. I think this is the most delicious eel rice I have eaten anywhere else except in Tokyo.
