Personal feeling - the food is &quot;wonderful&quot;, which I would say on rare occasions, and this is one of them! Come here as if you were going to a private residence (which is it!). There is a special service here. After the six dishes are all Baltic dishes, the people in the kitchen came to say hello. We stayed there for more than three hours! Next time you come to Oslo, you will definitely see me in Statholdergaarden!

The restaurant is not big, but it is clean and tidy. The dishes here are all traditional Nordic style and taste very good. The proprietress is very kind and friendly. She talked to us a lot about her past. The prices here are very affordable. I will come again next time I have the chance.

This is one of the rare times I say &quot;amazing&quot;! It&#39;s like visiting a private residence (which it is!). There was personal service and all six courses were Baltic... After three courses the kitchen guy came over to say hello... We were there for over three hours! You&#39;ll definitely see me at Statholdergaarden next time you&#39;re in Oslo!

I eat breakfast and lunch here because I like it so much. My favorite place to sit is inside the glass with the store name on it. It is very comfortable to watch the people coming and going outside through the glass while enjoying breakfast. I recommend the mussel set meal here, which is really delicious.
