We had lunch at Shanxi Restaurant. We called to make a reservation and then went downstairs to eat in another building in the compound. We were led to a room after entering the gate. There were about six or seven small tables inside. We ordered steamed meat (more noodles, tasted okay, but too salty), Wutaishan tofu meatballs (soup, the meatballs were probably fried tofu, they were very big, tasted okay), spinach sliced ​​noodles (normal), and kuoluoluo (too much for two people).

I stayed at the hotel specially for the authentic Jin cuisine. The delicious rice wine was warm and slightly sweet and fragrant! The roasted pig face was drizzled with special old vinegar, crispy and not greasy, the head was very authentic, the knife-cut noodles were kneaded and cut, the corn date cake and mutton siu mai were very delicious~

Because it was raining on the day we checked into Shanxi Hotel, we had dinner at Jinfulou. First of all, I want to talk about the environment. The decoration of the entire Jinfulou is solemn and elegant, and it looks very tasteful. The fried meat tastes smooth and not greasy; the fried meatballs are crispy and refreshing; the best is the eggplant box shrimp balls, which are five thin slices of eggplant with four fresh shrimps in the middle, fried until crispy, and then drizzled with fish sauce. The ti jian is really delicious ~ the noodle soup is average ~ the steamed yellow rice is soft and sticky and delicious ~ the bowl holder has been in the refrigerator for too long, there is a strange smell in the refrigerator, it is not fresh, icy, and the taste is very bad. The other dishes are average. There are only a few tables eating in the non-peak season, and the speed of serving dishes is very slow.
