Antica Besseta

One of the best meals of the trip and would have certainly eaten here if we had stayed another night. The fresh tomato salad was so tangy and tasty and the spaghetti vongole with clams was absolutely delicious. This was our last meal of the trip and definitely a great way to end our trip.

Very welcoming staff, a lovely evening, we will definitely go back. Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and booked it for us in advance, so glad they did. The food was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean sea bream, my wife loved the pasta with clams, the local Pinot Grigio wine was excellent.

If you want a quiet, old fashioned, good Italian restaurant I would recommend Antica Besseta. This was our first meal in Italy, arrived early on a Sunday evening, service was great, my pasta with clam sauce was absolutely amazing, would love to know how it is made.

I had fish today, the fish was very tender, the fish soup was also delicious, it was so delicious, I really want to eat it again. The restaurant is absolutely sacred, romantic, and warm. Everyone will like it here, and I am certainly not surprised. If you come to Venice, Italy, don't miss it.

The food came out very quickly, thumbs up. We went to this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel, away from the crowds, very quiet, nice. We were given a complimentary glass of champagne which was good, haddock starter, spaghetti with sausage and mixed salad, all very good.
